One week of use then it was toast
I loved this eyeliner. First one I have ever found to stay in place. The bad part? I only got a week of use from it since it would twist up. I found lots of reviews with the same issue. I'm disappointed because I paid so much and it was defective.

Not worth the money for amount of product you get!
Not worth the money. Glides on smoothly but the amount of product you actually get will on do a couple of applications. I've only used this once. Look at pic.

    I usually have good luck with this brand, but not this time. It applied on very nicely, but as the day went on, it smudged. I was so embarrassed and disappointed, especially for the price.

    It's not usable.
    It won't sharpen, the twist bit at the bottom does nothing. I've tried twisting it. Both ways, over an hour and still no eyeliner. It didn't have a tip or anything on it when I bought it. Very much regretting this purchase

    Wow, I Changed My Mind, After Using It A Few Times
    When I first bought this eyeliner, I was looking for a mechanical pencil to replace another brand that I loved, but they changed to a pencil that required a sharpener, which I didn't want. I was looking for a dark purple color, but spotted the Cobalt Blue and decided to give it a try. I was incredibly surprised how even it went on and how easy it was to smug and make it smokey, for night use, or a touch of color for day use. It lasted so much longer than any eyeliner pencil I've ever used (even better than the one I had from the other company)! If I had to say anything negative about it, it would be that it isn't easy to remove (I use an eye makeup remover pad now) and that it's always sold out at my local drug store! I'm going to buy some other colors, especially the purple, plum, and brown!

    Into the Garbage
    I didn't get one use out of this. I went to put it on and the makeup broke off. I tried to twist more up and it wouldn't budge. I twisted forever before giving up and throwing it out because I lost the receipt. So disappointed.

    Great eyeliner...terrible design
    The eyeliner product itself is wonderful....glides on very easily and does not smudge. However...you only get about 10-20 uses out of it before you have to sharpen it. I used the sharpener recommended (L'Oreal brand) and the amount of force it took to sharpen the pencil totally mangled the eyeliner since it is so soft. My hands were covered in eyeliner and the sharpener end had tons of eyeliner jammed in the end. At the end of it all I did have a usable product but I don't see myself continuing to try and sharpen this pencil. Please consider changing the packaging to a self-advancing swivel pencil. The complete hassle of trying to sharpen this pencil is the worst. "Ain't nobody got time for that!!"

    Does not sharpen well
    I love the product. The color is exactly what I wanted as I am in a purple phase with my makeup. The liner gives a nice hue underneath my black underline. Imagine my shock when the product worn down and I went to turn the bottom and no swivel occurre. There is a gold colored band around the top of the pencil which makes it difficult to sharpen. The edge is ragged and not smooth. You are therefore left with a pencil that you can't use. I will purchase another brand and hopefully theirs will either swivel up or sharpen.

    Love it but...
    I have bought this product 3x. Each time the eyeliner actually falls out! I am using the recommended Loreal eye sharpener! Help!!!!!

    Best drugstore eyeliner ever
    The only bad thing I can say about this liner is that it does not last 16 hours, as it claims. It will last all day, though. I have this in Plum and Cobalt, and they are amazing! The colors are vivid and highly pigmented. I can draw really thin lines with them. The are super-creamy and glide on easily: They remind me of Urban Decay's liner pencils in that respect. If you use a sharp, good quality sharpener, it will sharpen just fine (if yours is a bad fit, or old and dull, you'll have issues).
