Do not buy this item
This mount is not sturdy at the attachment point of the back of the TV, it is very flimsy. The way the backplate attaches to the bracket is terrible. Most quality mounts use some kind of hook attachment that you can set the backplate onto. You cannot do that with this mount, you have to line up four bolt holts and hope that you get bolts that will tighten.

    It's a Lie, it does NOT hold 50" TV.
    Does not hold 50" TV. It's a lie. I had to pay for mounting it and now to take it down because TV cannot stay in the middle without bending to the side.
