Perfect addition to my new kitchen!
I really love this spice rack! I have probably been through at least eight other ones over the last 10 years and I have to say this one is absolutely perfect! It is a perfect size so it fits nicely on your counter and will fit perfectly in the corner as well. It has a very nice variety of spices as well. Mine included crushed mint, pizza seasoning, sea salt, parsley, oregano, basil, bay leaves, coriander, marjoram, Italian seasoning, seasoned salt, rosemary and herbs de provence and a couple of other spices. I have used two of the herbs so far and they are nice and fresh and they taste great. I love that it also spins around for easy access as well. It is a nice looking shiny silver and a perfect addition to my new kitchen! Even the labels on the spices are attractive. It does say on the box that it also comes with five years of spice replacements however mine did not come with any paper or explanation on how to do that but other than that I highly recommend this product, great price, nice quality and it is perfect if you are on a tight budget and/or setting up your first home.

A Little Disappointed
I'm a huge foodie and I love to cook. Trying new recipes and spices are a hobby for me. So when the spice rack was available for review, I jumped at the opportunity. I loved the assortment the set came with. There were all kinds of spices I'd never have purchased individually for recipes. There were a few issues with the set I received though. It was mostly with the individual bottles themselves. Many of them were not sealed at all. You twist the top and the seal was stuck to the inside of the cap with no signs that an adhesive had been applied. This resulted in "stale" spices. Like the mint leaves had lost all their fragrance and the seasoning salt didn't smell or taste like seasoning salt at all, but had a strong "chemical" smell and flavor. Other bottles in the set were sealed so tightly that I couldn't get them open. The seal had cemented to the shaker top. So the only way to get to the spices was to punch holes through the tops. The good thing was, those were all fresh. Overall, if they can get quality control on the seal issue and make sure the spices stay fresh and uncontaminated, I'd actually purchase it again.

    Wonderful Spice Racks!
    Wonderful spice racks. I purchased two of them to accommodate me in prepping my meals. They come with all the jars filled with seasonings. They came pre-labeled, but these labels are removable. I bought some labels and a sharpie to handprint my own labels, and they worked out very well on these jars. The rack rotates very well. Nice chrome handles and very easy to pick up. Also, you get a free spice re-fill for five years. Just only pay shipping and handling. My suggestion is to make sure the spice rack is registered, and the free re-fill code is located on the flap. Each spice rack I purchase had a different code, and there is a huge selection of herbs to choose from to spice up your meals. Overall, I love these spice racks and they have made my kitchen look splendid, and meals delicious! I definitely love it1

    I Bought this for my wife and she love it.
    Great product, it good to have that in your Kitchen perfect size you can put it anywhere. At first i thought it was big when i ordered and when i received i was very please and not forget to mention it come with 16 different kind of Seasoning you might not like some of them but you can always put your own in the jaws.

    kamenstein Chrome 16 Jar Rotating Spice Rack I use spices for almost every food dish I prepare and my cupboard was getting overwhelmed with containers. Truly needed something to alleviate this problem so I asked to review this rotating spice rack from Walmart online. It's made of welded chrome plated steel, so it's strong and robust. I measured 7" diameter x 10 1/2" height. The pre-filled spice jars fit securely within the rack so there's no worries about them falling out. The rack rotates smoothly on a base of 6 ball bearings with no wobble. The packaging box states the included spices are "the freshest, highest quality spices" which remains to be seen, as I have not opened many of them. Also, while the rack itself is made in China, the spices are packaged in the United States. (Of note here, one contains sea-salt, which does not have the extra iodine your body might need). If these are indeed "highest quality spices", please note the manufacturer includes a registration number on the box, which allows you to receive free spice refills for 5 years, just pay shipping and handling which we're all so fond of. I did attempt to register to find any other details I could share, but the kamenstein given web page, (www.spicerifills.com), would not accept the registration number printed on the box, "invalid registration number". I will probably keep this spice rack directly on the kitchen counter instead of the cupboard as it presents the most commonly used spices so conveniently. There's no real attractiveness to the rack, just really handy and easy to reach containers.

    Great value in the kitchen
    Kamenstein, Chrome, 16 Jar Rotating Spice Rack What a great benefit to the cook who actually cooks from scratch.  If you love to make home-made meals this spice rack will be a great addition to your kitchen.  The rack is solid made with ball bearings for rotation.  That takes the weight of the glass jars off of any point and distributes it evenly.  What this means for you?  That means that the rack will not tilt when spinning.  The glass jars are well made and come with shaker tops where needed.  It makes for a pretty addition to the kitchen. A great variety of spices are available; such as, Basil, Bay leaves, Celery salt, Chives, Coriander, Crushed mint, Fennel seed, Herbs De Provence, Italian seasoning, Marjoram, Oregano, Parsley, Pizza seasoning, Rosemary, Sea salt, and season salt. This will be a great started set for anyone who loves to actually cook. I wouldn't recommend this product for a beginning cook or for someone who doesn't cook from scratch; it would be a waste of space. Don't throw away the box.  One of the inside flaps has an offer from Kamenstein to refill the spices for 5 years, with registration, with shipping and handling.

    Awesome spice rack
    This spice rack looks very beautiful, and comes with spices included. The spices are all fresh, and are ones that a person uses often. The jars are 3 1/2" tall and 1 3/4" wide, and hold a good amount of spices. All the shaker cap parts fit well, except for one, and putting the plastic cap in the microwave for 3 min., then letting it cool, made it fit well, so it was then useable. the caps that screw on the top to seal the jars all fit well and go on and off smoothly. The rack rotates smoothly, so if you put it in a cupboard, it saves space, and you can just turn it to get the spice you want. I have mine out on a counter, mostly because it is convenient, but also because it is very nice looking and fits in well with the other things I have on the counter top. With it being so handy, I find that I use the spices more often and I don't inadvertently forget to add a spice a recipe is calling for. The spices that are included are ; Basil, Crushed Mint, Marjoram, Parsley, Celery Salt, Chives, Sea salt, Bay leaves, Coriander, Fennel, Herbes De Provence, Pizza season, Italian season, Season salt, Rosemary, and Oregano. They were all very fresh and very good quality. This spice rack would make a wonderful gift for any occasion, also for a gift to oneself. I definitely recommend this rack for anyone.

    Nice little spice rack!
    This is a great little spice rack! It not only looks very nice, but is quite handy. And the fact that you get free spice refills for five years was a huge bonus! I love that it spins for easy access. It was a great addition to our kitchen. The only flaw I could find in the whole rack was that it was slightly bent to one side, which is why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars in durability. But that was easily fixed by bending it around a little. To be fair it probably happened in shipping. We have been using the spices for three days now in all of our foods and are very happy. With a family of five, we go through a lot of spices. My over all review is that Kamenstein makes a great spice rack. And the fact that buyers get free refills for five years is huge. I am going to buy one of these for my mother for Christmas! Maybe even a few of them for gifts. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice looking spice rack that is easy to access. Kudo's to wal mart for selling such a great spice rack!

    Nice Spice Rack
    The Kamenstein 16 jar spice rack is a nice compact spice rack. The rack is a shiny chrome finish, approximately eleven inches tall and seven inches wide. The rack rotates for easy access to the spices. The spices are in glass jars with large clearly printed labels. I have only had this spice rack for a short time. I have used a few of the spices included and found them very good. The spice are dry spices but come to life when used. A big plus is that there is an offer on the box for free spices for the next five years. They do charge for shipping and handling. The offer is on the inside flap of the box. As of this time, I have not ordered any refills, so I can not rate that. Over all this is a very nice looking rack and the spices have been delicious .

    Very good product all that I need
    I needed this spice rack to taste the difference in flavors of spices. I tasted flavors at resaurants that I can't make at home. Turns out some restaurants had rosemary others used marjoram. All restaurants use other spices for the dishes. Making brisket rubs for BBQ or shakes for steaks,roast,jerky, and chicken are the main use of this rack. If I need more spices I will buy another set for other spices.The rack is easy to use and see what you have left. the grand kids love to make shakes for whatever we are cooking. The pizza seasoning is good for making homemade pizza in about 20 minutes. I use a lot of spices and with this set you get free refills for 5 years of spices. All the spices come sealed for freshness. They are good for Mexican food and Italian cooking. The set comes with oregano, pizza seasoning, bay leaves, sea salt, celery salt, season salt, basil, Italian seasoning, cruch mint, marjotam, fennel seed,coriander, chives, rosemary, herb de provence, and parsley are most likely to to make all of your dishes. The first thing I did was taste all the spices before cooking with them. Some restaurants use one main flavor for steak and chicken dishes. Like copycat foods Herb de provence is good for making KFC OR CHICK-FiL-A chicken both are pressure cooked and the kinds of flour. I will buy more just for the jars for more spices for the low price.The rack is stainless steel and rotates. I use a lot of spices when cooking wild hogs,deer,turkey, steers, chicken,fish, and dove. I wish I had bought these along time ago.
