21st Century Mommies Little Helper
Johnson's Calming Baby Shampoo with NaturalCalm Scent, in the 13.6 fl. Oz bottle, is the “mommies' little helper” for the 21st century. I am a huge fan of many of Johnson's products over the past 25 plus years. Used variety of them for my son 27 years ago, for myself once he was grown, and am using for my four-year-old now. The expectation of a quality product has always been met and Johnson's Calming Baby Shampoo with NaturalCalm Scent is no different. First off, I love the larger, easier to open design of this bottle; I did not have to struggle with or get a finger cramp trying to open it up. But the best part, is the thick rich, not to strongly scented shampoo. Though not shown anywhere on the bottle the scent smells strongly of lavender along with variety of florals and Johnson's claims all ingredients are naturally derived. Regardless of the exact scent ingredients they do exactly as claimed, leave your baby calm and relaxed after using. A bonus is that I felt relaxed and calmed from the scent just from washing my daughter's hair. Johnson's Calming Baby Shampoo with NaturalCalm Scent has delivered another quality product that left my daughter's hair silky soft and did without any tears in her eyes. This is a product I will be recommending it to my friends and family, you will too after using this shampoo.

No Frills, Gentle Shampoo
I was expecting this Johnson's Calming Shampoo to be a nice product, to test and review, because it is a trusted brand and I've been happy with their products, for many years. This shampoo is very lightly scented. It has a clean, fresh, slightly powdery scent and is very pleasant. I was expecting a lavender scent, since it says "calming" and the bottle is lavender colored. Lavender scented products are used for calming and soothing the senses, but there is no hint of lavender, in this shampoo, at all. The shampoo has no dyes and so, is clear. It also has no parabens or sulfates. It is hypoallergenic and gentle, for babies or adults. It lathers nicely and rinses out easily. Since I tested the shampoo, on myself, I can say that it cleaned my hair well and left it very soft. Most adult shampoos have a lot of "extras", which are intended to add volume, de-frizz, plump up or do something, to improve texture. This shampoo doesn't do any of those things. It left my hair very clean, soft and shiny - but, very flat. Some shampoos leave the hair smelling very pretty, because they are loaded with fragrance. This shampoo just leaves the hair smelling clean and that's it. I think this is a very nice product, and well suited for babies or children - or adults who want a hypoallergenic shampoo, not loaded with fragrances, colors or other additives. It gets the job done, with no frills.

    Great Smelling and Gentle Shampoo
    I like the scent on this baby shampoo; it is not very strong and I agree that it really does have a very calming effect. Even with a small amount of shampoo, it creates a nice lather upon massaging. It has the “no more tears” icon on the top of the bottle, so I tested it on my own eyes to see whether or not it stings because my kids still scream when the bubbles get on their eyes. And after testing, I can say it does not sting, but I still don't like things on my eyes either. I guess we are conditioned that way. This shampoo is more liquid or watery than the other ones I have used on them, which are more like lotion texture or at least a bit thicker than this, but I don't mind it as long as I get that good lather as I mentioned before. It seems to wash well and the nice fresh scent stays on them overnight. The bottle says that it does not contain “parabens, phthalates, sulfates or dyes.” I am not exactly sure what these things are, but I am glad that this shampoo is gentle on their hair.

    Such a nice aroma
    The Johnson's Calming Baby Shampoo with NaturalCalm Scent really has a nice calming smell. It is great for babies bath time before bed. Johnson's Calming Baby Shampoo with NaturalCalm Scent relaxed me to , i loved the smell. It lathers great. Its gentle. This is a great baby shampoo.

    I am reviewing Johnson 2019s Calming Baby Shampoo with NaturalCalm Scent, in the 13.6 fl. oz. size. I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion of it. I often change shampoos since my hair sometimes seems to get 'immune' to some after many uses. I have a few different bottles, of various brands and types that I rotate between. I decided to try baby shampoo again, since as I've gotten older, my hair has become more delicate and unagreeable with harsher shampoos. I don't usually buy scented shampoos since they can clash with perfumes and/or body sprays. When I first opened the bottle at all overwhelming. It is a very gentle smellng shampoos, and pleasant in a lavendar-ish aroma. It is also gentle from what I remember of most of Johnson's baby shampoo lines. The shampoo does exactly what it was meant to. It gently cleanses the hair, leaving behind a very gentle, pleasant and relaxing scent. I would recommend this as a nice change in any shampoo rotation.

    Johnson Calming Baby Shampoo With Natural Calm Scent 13.6 Fl. Oz. Is Very easy to use. I find it gentle when washing my hair. My hair feels a lot better than using regular shampoo's. Regular shampoos makes my hair feel rough and like it's been washed with detergents. I also like the fact that it wont burn your eyes. This shampoo has a very pleasant smell to it. There's also no waxes or any other harsh agents with this shampoo. I'm very happy I have the chance to try this product out. I'm going to give it five stars.

    Super-Gentle Baby Shampoo
    The Johnson's NaturalCalm Baby Shampoo is one of the gentlest baby shampoo's I've ever used. This particular scent is barely noticeable and has a hint of lavender to it. The shampoo itself is clear; only the bottle is purple. The shampoo is a moderately viscous gel that isn't too thick or too thin. It lathers extremely easily into soft bubbles by adding only a small amount of water. The best part is that it rinses easily. Even when using large amounts of the shampoo, you shouldn't have to rinse and rinse and rinse as it comes out of hair and off skin nicely. Once it's washed off, there is no film left behind, nor any dryness. It does leave a very slight scent behind which is very pleasant. The bottle fits inside the palm and isn't a really rigid plastic which allows it to squeeze easily and can be used with one hand if necessary. All you have to do is press your thumb into the rocker cap to open the valve and then squeeze with one hand to apply. I think it's important to have this feature so you can hold baby or toddler with one hand and dispense the shampoo with the other. Lastly, with a full 13.6oz of shampoo in each bottle, there are plenty of uses before it needs replacing. It advertises itself to be free of parabens , pthalates, sulfates, and dyes. Overall, the Johnson's NaturalCalm is a great baby shampoo that meets the needs of modern parenting as well as being chemically conscious.

    Johnson Calming Baby Shampoo
    My husband and I are senior citizens with fine hair. We decided this would be a good shampoo for us to try. Our hair was less fly-away after washing with this shampoo. It is gentle for older scalps. I would think it would also be good for babies. The scent is pleasantly mild. It lathers and rinses well.
