Love it! Exactly as described and shown. Didn't realize the light dims. Extra bonus because with the LED lights it's super bright. Great price.

Delivered Me a Damaged and Previously Handled Fan
Unpacked ceiling Xerxes 62" ceiling fan, immediately noticed some screws were loose and rattling around as though someone had previously handled the unit. The main housing had been dropped, had a huge dent, was out of alignment, and did not spin smoothly (had metal rubbing against metal). Did not bother assembling. Immediately returned it to Walmart.

    Check for damage before you install!!
    The fan itself is great. It is large, moves a lot of air and great looking also. The issue however is that in 2 of 3 fans I have had shipped to me, the motor housing is bent and causes rubbing. Definitely check for this right when you remove it from the box.

    Looks great in a big room. Easy install
    I like the look and size of this fan. I even mounted it a bit higher than recommended for clearance. I feel a breeze at low setting which some complain about. Medium speed is good but high you can hear the motor slightly. You can also change fan direction with a switch on top of the motor housing. Setup was easy and wiring is very simple 3 wires color coded. Instructions are well written with plenty of pictures to help. The remote transmitter was a bit fussy to fit into the mount but I had a different mount for a steeper than 10° angle (sold separately). Remote is wall mountable or hand held with easy to view buttons. The dimmable light is nice but switching from cool lights to day lights would require a new led insert which I have no yet sought after.

    Almost, but not quite
    The remote control does not work unless it is within 3 feet of the fan - which is difficult when mounted on a tall ceiling. I have contacted customer support 3 times and they agreed to ship me a new remote (but the original remote was brand new and never worked). Also, this fan is more for looks than for function, the air flow is not acceptable to cool the room.

    It is quiet and it is even better looking after I hung it . Beware , it is a heavy fan . If your ceiling is not properly blocked . It could be a problem .

    Doesn't move much air
    The fan was fairly easy to install and it looks great BUT it doesn't not move much air at all. I'm surprised that this size fan moves so little air. I'm so disappointed. I'm going to return it and find another one.
