BATTERY OPERATED
Despite being called an electric train, it is battery operated. Nowhere in the pictures or product description does it say anything about needing batteries. Very disappointing

    Missing Slots in Clamp
    Not only is the assembly tedious but also it is damage. I am not able to insert 4 of my 8 support struts because the tree clamp is damage and it missing 4 of it slots. So how am I suppose to insert my struts without the slots in the clamp. Worst purchase. I need a full refund.

    terrible , first of all it was advertised as electric powered and its battery operated, small cheap track , cars do not stay on track, just horrible, spend the extra money people like i will now do and get a better one, this one is so cheap cause its terrible, old saying is true, you get what you pay for

    Adorable and of great quality!
    This train set is adorable. It is very easy to assemble, and the tracks are very easy to snap together, The train uses 4 AA Batteries and it makes a realistic engine sound that is not too loud but just perfect. My favorite part about it is that the tracks are very sturdy and do not break off easily like others. The train runs nicely on the track, and the track is big enough to fit under our Christmas tree. The train has a headlight on it that looks pretty and my kids really like this nice little train set. On one of the trains, it has sculpted details of peppermint candles that I adore very much. Another thing I really enjoy about this train set is that on the third train car it comes with, there are animated elves that dance around while the train is going on the track. Overall I like and recommend this.

    This is really perfect for Christmas it goes right around the Christmas tree but can also be set up on the floor so it's also really great for anyone who loves toy trains. Its pretty decent sized its not too big and not too small. It takes AA batteries. My nephew absolutely loves the train. I'm calling it the polar Express. I would 100% reccomend buying this and the price is pretty good too.

    Doesn't take up much space even if you don't use a tree. Once it is secured to a tree, the weight is stable. I feared the weight of the train would make it lopsided and fall off but it did not. The train cars aren't all that heavy individually and they're very cute. The stickers are placed appropriately. The conductor simply repeats "All aboard! All aboard!" As it goes around ringing the bell and engine sounds. I don't remember what the difference was between short and long but both versions seemed to do the same thing. After a few minutes, it stops for a few moments and then starts back up and repeats the process. 4 batteries go under the peppermint candy top and there's a wire that connects that carts power to the front cart, the caboose? It can be tricky getting all of the wheels on the track correctly but once they are, as long as left alone and nothing in the way, they stay on. The train will not run on a smooth floor. Unsure about carpeted.

    This is a very nice looking train set and seems to be well built. I put it together and tried it and it worked great. I don't know how it will work on a tree because I'm not putting up a tree in July just to try it. So back in the box till Christmas.

    Perfect Addition for Christmas tree
    This Holiday Time Christmas sweet train is very cute,We absolutely love it.The train itself makes sounds and goes around the track as a train would and has a timer that allows it to go around for two minutes or continually for four hours with two minutes breaks in between each lap around the track.My favorite thing about the train tracks is the placement of the tracks,they dont have to be at the bottom of the tree where you place presents.You can place tracks around the center of the tree with the supports and clamps that come with this train set. This is a huge factor for me since I place all of my presents under the tree .The price is perfect for this item since most train sets are way more expensive and dont offer the option of track placement being around the center of tree or simply placing train on the floor or table. Honestly my kids love it and this Holiday Time Christmas sweet train will be used every Holiday season for years to come.

    This was the worst $30 I have ever spent. The clips holding the train cars together were so flimsy that they broke immediately. The wheels do not fit on the track correctly and it falls off or stops moving constantly. The track does not fit together smoothly.
