Be careful, Windows is outdated
I thought this was a good deal, but it's preloaded with an outdated version of windows 10 (expired in dec 2020), and the system is unable to install the latest version of windows (it fails after 2 hours every time). So, there is no security and constant error messages. I wish i didn't buy this, so frustrating.

    SLOW basic computer
    Purchased as a basic computer for my grandfather. Although it is VERY slow, it does what he needs with Microsoft Word. Don't expect much performance out of this as it struggles with even operating.

    If you buy refurbished buy it locally.
    Bought this about six weeks ago and now it s starting act up, every now and then the mouse curser disappears and have to restart, not sure what's going on, but if it cost more to fix it than it is a waste of money. should have known better an to buy refurbished

    piece of junk. how could this be refurbished? the keyboard would not work, tried 2 other keyboards, they would not work on this computer. Stay away from these "refurbished PCs".

    Ok for the money, but a little remorse here.
    It runs fine, but it takes a lot longer than our old refurbished Walmart Desktop to boot up. I wish I had paid more and got a better model now, but it does run good enough, just got spoiled off the old Walmart refurbed unit. Just does not seem to have the memory and speed that was on the ad. Solid average unit.

    Great Desktop Computer!
    Great replacement for my old dinosaur of a computer. After using this for a few months, I am so happy I purchased it. It is so much faster and has up-to-date software. It would have been a waste of time and money try to update my frustrating old computer. This HP Compaq Elite 8300 is wonderful!

    Fast enough for normal use. For the price, it's a good computer. I tested all USB ports and they seem to be OK. I've been using it for a couple weeks now, so far there's no problem.

    Good,but
    Looked new when Tooken out of paccing. Worked perfectly untill a day or two later. The computer started to not recognize USBs . It would pop up a message that says usb malfunction and make the connect and disconnected sound 10 times in a row every 2-5 minutes .
