They don't last long
I am stuck buying this style of bulb due to my light fixture. In the last two years we have had to replace them three times. Unfortunately in four locations. So they do not last as long as they claim period. We bought them one last time and plan to change our light fixtures. It will save us money in the long run. Because these are not cheap and do not last.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/02/2016Lightened the loadsIt has a long lifetime of 22 years and saves 50 watts but giving the same light as a 60 watt bulb using only 10 watts. I have these oddball GU24 stud connectors in all four of our ceiling fans in the new house each with fluorescent bulbs in them. When one blew out I found that replacement fluorescent GU24 bulbs would cost the same or more than switching to these LED bulbs. While the watts used are only 3 watts more for the 13 watt fluorescents, they get very hot and contribute to increasing our electric bill in summer. No fluorescent bulb we have had in the last ten years has lasted more than a couple of years. The LED lights we have had are still working great ten years later. These bulbs barely get warm and can be handled immediately after they have been on for any amount of time. So the savings in watts used and low to no heat generated, makes the LEDs a no brainer when considering the 22 year expected life. I still think these are over priced. I can buy dimmable LED bulbs in the standard A19 screw in type for about 3 bucks each when bought in six packs, and 4 bucks each bought singly. I recently bought six packs of our 65 watt BR30 ceiling can light fixture bulbs and they cost $29.99 online for TCL brand. I needed 12 for our house and mistakenly ordered color temp 5000k the first time and had to reorder in soft white 2700-3000k warmer bulbs. The 5000k were like office fluorescents and too stark. I can sell them locally, now that I have the soft whites. I buy only dimmable like these when I can. They are less susceptible to power surges and brownouts, which in my area are common with every storm. I can highly recommend these until they can be found more cheaply. As well, I ordered, for a buck each, enough GU24 base adapters that allow me to use standard screw base A19 LED bulbs in place of the stud base these have.Derek
