Very bright
These are great lights. Light up the room very bright. Im.not sure on the longevity of them yet. I know some led bulbs burn out quicker than others. I guess we will see. Other than that, I'd give these bulbs a try. Thanks for another great product.

Energy Efficient Bulbs
I've started transitioning to LED light bulbs to be more efficient and these work just as well as a fluorescent or incandescent light bulb for home use. I'm also hoping these will last longer as my other LED bulbs have.

There are several things I found that I like about these Great Value LED Light Bulbs. First and foremost; they last THIRTEEN YEARS!! You read that right: THIRTEEN YEARS! Do you have any idea how much you can save on light bulbs in that length of time? These bulbs are made for durability. There is NO incandescent light bulb that comes anywhere close to that, while saving up to 80% on energy cost. This little LED 5W Soft White is the equivalent of a 40W incandescent bulb. They are also dimmable. There are several different areas that you can use them. They can go in ceiling fans, lamps and more. They are very versatile. Unfortunately, they could not fit into any of our ceiling fans, so we put them in the vanity light fixture in my hubby's bathroom. These Great Value LED Light Bulb, 5W (40W Equivalent) A15 Ceiling Fan Clear Lamp E12 Candelabra Base, Dimmable, Soft White, 2-Pack are reasonably priced and they last for years. They are equivalent to a 40 wt bulb and they fit perfectly in my ceiling fan and also fit my base lamp pole. If you are looking for a really bright light then these may not work for you but they are just right for a ceiling fan! Remember that these are soft white and come in a 2 pk, LED 5W but equivalent to to a 40W, Candelabra Base and dimmable! I think that anyone would be pleased with this product! The three regular bulbs that came with the ceiling fan I installed in the kitchen were extremely dim but after 4 years, I got use to them until now. Wish the Great Value pack had three instead of two bulbs but after installing and turning on the power, the brightness effect from the two new LED bulbs were like night and day. So bright, I can see past just the shadows the regular bulbs provided. Definitely going to install on all the ceiling fans. Thanks Walmart for a quality product.Jojo

Unfortunately, these bulbs do not match my candelabra base lights in the playroom. However, I was able to suck it up and put it on the side that no one is going to see much. These bulbs went in the socket like they are supposed to. The brightened up the room like they are supposed to. So, with that being said, I cannot write any negative review for this product as it performs as it is expected! I used Great Value lights all throughout my house. They are a cheaper alternative that produces the same results as any name brand light bulb. I do think it is a little far fetched to put on the box that these will last 13 years. Because, as I said, I have Great Value bulbs all throughout my house. We have only lived here for 3 years and we have changed bulbs on numerous occasions. So, 13 years? I'll believe it when I see it. But, until then, that is not enough to stop me from using these bulbs! The picture is pretty dark because I wanted to focus in on the lights for two reasons. One, to show they do not match, but second, to show they put off the same amount of light!BIN613

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/20/2020Works As Well As "Famous" LED BrandsIn my opinion, these bulbs perform just as well as the name brands we've all been used to, and I'm glad to see this option out there. I was anxious to try them and was delighted first of all to just get them out of the package and notice they felt just as "hefty" as I would have expected in a more expensive name-brand LED bulb, so that was a nice surprise. They also appeared nicely put together for an LED bulb, with all the bells and whistles; not being a lighting engineer, I have no clue what to look for, but these appear to be put together quite well and sturdy. The reason I was impressed when I replaced a burnt-out bulb in our guest room chest lamp was because these are soft-light bulbs, great for reading. (I do not have a lamp or candelabra that dims in my house, so could not try out the dimmability of these bulbs.) When we do have guests, they often read or watch TV, etc. into the night hours, and I've found this variety of bulbs -- soft light -- are the best for that. They also are just a more pleasant light for general atmosphere. At any rate, they're more hard to find in general, so I was happy to see they're now available here at such a reasonable price. Long and short, though I've only had them installed for about five weeks now (and I've left the lamp on continuously, actually, as a sort of nightlight), I've had no problems at all, so I suspect the bulb will perform as advertised and recommend it.hotflashvickie
