Love It
I love this thermostat. It is connected to my Alexa devices plus my phone. It learns your temperature patterns, too. Very convenient and the color looks wonderful with hard wood floors.

Doesn't work
Got this brand new and even with A compatible wiring system, two electricians. I kept getting error “no power to the R switch” and now “ Please remove the thermostats from in space then reattach it “ No matter what happens. I need to return this .

    Be careful of 3rd party sellers!
    We love nest our products- and knew it was a must for our new house. We needed two , since we will have 2 systems and the price couldn't be beat. Nothing on the listing prepared us for what arrived. Both arrived in the same box from Walmart- however one of them had a dirt cheap sticker on it. This didn't sit right with me as these were supposed to be new unused and dirt cheap (while you can get good deals) tends to be open product. The way the plastic was on the box also seemed off on both of them. As they looked resealed and you couldn't see the google seal. I set up a return and took them into my local Walmart within 30 mins. The customer service lady was wonderful and she actually opened both boxes to verify they were in fact brand new and no reseals- that we could tell at least. However, she stated that since the item was from a 3rd party seller even thou fulfilled by Walmart I would need to reach out to them regarding any concerns. So I did, only to be told by the listing 3rd party- to take it up with Walmart if I was unhappy. We haven't been able to hook either up, but wanted to warn others of trying to get a good deal on a new nest with this shady stuff going on.

    The color and finish of the bezel is very nice. Installation was 15 min. It was super easy to get my Nest up and running.

    We love our Nest Learning Thermostat. We installed it right after we moved into our house and eventually ended up installing another one in our garage. It's so handy to check the temperature of the house as well as change the temp by telling Google. You can also check on the temp of your house from the app. Highly, highly recommend this product!

    not very smart, just a schedule.
    In short this app nor the product is very smart. The rigid adherence to the schedule is the largest issue. If I've changed the house temp 5min ago, I don't still want the thermostat to move to the sleeping temp at the scheduled time. The result is I find myself fighting the schedule more often than not and in the inverse I wake up in the middle of the night hot

    Easy install, awesome product! Worth It!
    This was incredibly easy to install and worked immediately! I love how I didn have to use the jumper cable from RH to RC as Nest has that automatically built in. I am by now means a handy man and this was easy for me. Highly recommend! We are enjoying all the different settings and the full control from our phones.

    This thermostat is ideal. It allows you to control the temperature of your house by letting it learn your patterns. It will automatically learn when to cool or raise the temperature based on when you set it. It also lets you set times and schedules for the day and night. When youre in vacation you can easily keep track and adjust it accordingly. This is a great product.
