Brilliant!

I'm not happy with this purchase at all!!!
I got mine back in February and it wont even start up unless its plugged in and i lost the charger for it and have no idea how to get a new one because walmart done sell them (even though i bought it there) i can't even register it for the 1 year warranty to get a new one

    Falsely advertised
    I purchased this product because it was supposed to come with a free year of Microsoft 365 Personal. It even has the flyer inside the package. However they don't supply the product key code in order to activate the offer. I've sent numerous emails and have been unsuccessful in getting any resolution. I've spent over 2 hours trying to reach customer service. Every time I'm on hold waiting “for my call to be answered in the order it was received” but every time after 15 minutes it then says “no representatives are available to take your call” and it hangs up. No option for online chat either. I would never purchase a Gateway product and wouldn't recommend. How hard is it to get me the code so I can use this? Beyond aggravated with this experience. I'd rate them zero stars if that were an option.

    3rd PARTY SELLERS NEED TO BE POLICED..
    ZERO STARS..sadly after spending 2hrs online with tech support, the MICROSOFT OFFICE bundled with this notebook WAS BLOCKED BY MICROSOFT to this seller and is useless. in order to use this I now have to BUY THE SUBSCRIPTION..$69.99.. In order to use Office..this puts the price well into a higher bracket of a better system that I would have definitely bought because overall this unit is flimsy, and NOT built for everyday use..keys are flimsy and the charging port will be the first to go..Now I'm out nearly $200 on an item that is of no use to me and no recourse..this is the 2nd problem I have had with 3rd PARTY SELLERS on WALMART in less than 2 months...if an item I need is offered 3rd party..THINK TWICE ..

    Perfect for me!
    I had a Chromebook that was no longer going to receive updates. That upset me, so this time I replaced it with this Windows book because I know Windows will never abandon the updates. It turns out to be a great upgrade. I can take it anywhere and do schoolwork which is convenient. I love the flip-around tablet-mode. I doubt I'll use it, but it's a nice feature for watching movies when I travel. The device is very fast. Perfect size. I was worried about the color, but it's actually a beautiful, teal green. I actually love the color. It's perfectly gender neutral. I think this is a really underrated device. I also love the one year subscription to Windows 365! It turned off my monthly billing. That alone normally costs me $70/year. That basically made the computer $80. That's a steal!

    No Charger
    If you happened to buy someone this laptop for the holidays, you may want to open it beforehand and make sure it has a charger. ? We got one for our son and literally, all that was in the box was foam and the laptop...no charger, user manual, registration or manufacturer warranty info or anything! Their customer service department has been wonderful and they are sending us a charger. Just figured I'd make others aware.

    DO NOT GET IT
    I bought this computer thinking it's a new computer, and it's definitely not. I didn't even have to go through the set up for the computer, there was just someone else's log in stuff. Like I can log into this person Netflix account. And it's been glitching ever since I've opened it. Like apps opening by themselves. some of the keyboard buttons won't work, like I tried to turn up the volume and it won't work at all. This is extremely disappointing.

    Too Slow to Use
    This laptop is garbage. WiFi is extremely slow. Useless for WiFi and I don't have any other connection. We have other apps and test wifi speed but this laptop is slower than dialup-- really it seems slower than dial=up, but I realize old dialup modems were not loading today's sites.

    DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! (Negative 5 stars)
    this computer is absolutely horrible. DO NOT BUY IT! i have had nothing but issues since the day that i bought it. watching molasses dry would be faster than how this computer runs. the charger and/or port chooses when it wants to work. And now, only 5 months after owning, the computer does not turn on at all

    Don't do it…you get what you pay for
    Worst laptop ever…maybe it's just my computer but it works when it wants to, I can be online and the computer will restart. At times if I'm able to do my school work on the computer the screen will go black and then come one after multiple frustrating attempts. I only had it 3 months I was going to give it to my 7 year old but I don't want him to be frustrated with this laptop!!!
