Quick!!! For the features; price can't be beat!
Received my computer exceptionally quick, after just a day and a half. Setup was easy and I've had no issues or concerns thus far. The screen is large, the SSD is 256 with 16 Ram, nice sound (although a little lower than I'd like; nothing some accessory speakers won't fix), a decent quality webcam... I couldn't find any computer which comes close to these features for less than an additional $200 and believe me, I looked and looked. Due to the ram, the computer is ultra fast, the fastest I've ever used. It certainly has made set up a breeze. I got this computer to use as a work at home computer and I think its going to do the job nicely. The only thing I'm still waiting on is my headset which I ordered separately so, we shall see if that partners well. If it does, it's everything I could hope for.

Do not buy
The part of the charger that plugs into the computer broke after only a few weeks of use by a computer-savvy young adult (nothing bad happened to it). We were hoping the Gateway warranty would take care of it, but we didn't hear from them in a timely fashion and now it's too late to return to Walmart. Hundreds of dollar apparently down the drain.

    Too good to be true.
    I thought everything was perfect. Only had this machine a few weeks and there's a power issue. Computer randomly shut off on me even though the battery was at 100%. Then took me a few min to get it to turn back on. Don't waste your time. I thought this would be a great machine but not so much anymore.

    Nice but loud.
    Nice size laptop. Trying to figure how to update to Windows 11 that was advertised when I purchased as a free upgrade. I can t figure it out. Also the cooling fan is extremely loud. Seems to be working for me otherwise .

    Very cheap, thick bezels, and screen had terrible bleed. It was a too good type of deal for the price. I think if they improve the screen it MAY be worth it. It seemed like the thick bezel was screwed too tightly which caused hotspots around parts of the screen edges. I attached a photo showing a black background as that easiest to see the issue. The fan has a weird high pitch whine and ramps up and down a lot under basically very light usage. Just an FYI- there is a support email and website but I never heard back after several days and the website leaves much to be desired as far as downloads go for updates. You can't download anything! Also be aware that you cannot return this item to the store-it must be returned via mail as I spent 45 minutes trying to return it tonight only to be told conflicting things from phone agents. I got an in-store return barcode email that didn't work, then they said it can only be mailed back for return. I purchased another brand for the same price elsewhere on sale that is much better quality. I suggest you skip this one.

    Keypad problems
    Keypad has a back arrow where the zero (or double zeros) normally is. Not so easy to key in numbers.

    The m.2 nvme chip doesnt work
    Its a good product but doesnt come with anything to tell you what upgrade you attach. When I try to look up what m.2 nvme chip it can take but there nothing I can find to help. I check bios and it said it nvme is enabled but doesnt read or pick the m.2 nvme when it is install.
