Builds mold quickly
Unfortunately this model builds mold quickly. There is no supporting documentation on how to safely open and clean the mold out from the device like some other AC's out there. Save your money and get something that won't end up making your air quality worse.

    Did not cool room.
I bought this unit because of the good reviews I read and I was so excited to receive it. I set it up as the instructions said which was relatively easy but when I turned it on it did not blow out cold air. I let it run for a while even reset it but nope. The room was room temperature. I now have to wait for what seems like forever for frigidaire to pick up the old unit and then wait some more to receive a new unit. I will do another review when I get the new one. I really hope it works since the unit itself is heavy and putting it back in the original box and closing it up as it came was not easy.

    Quiet, Cool, and Connected
I was on the market for a quiet portable air conditioner after the first three I bought (other brands) failed me in noise level and power efficiency. After doing some online searching, I came across the Cool Connect cylinder. I was a little wary due to very few reviews outside of online marketplaces and the official Frigidaire website. Desperate for a new portable air conditioner that would improve my sleep quality and keep my PC room cool, I took the plunge. The window kit is quite nice, the best I've ever used. My window has a thin lip with little room to support a bracket or panel without necessitating much extra insulation, often more than provided with my previous purchases. The Frigidaire's window kit fits perfectly and snugly, with the foam tips and locking mechanism saving much time. It's also low profile, leaving less room for air to escape. The chamfered design provides a barrier and prevents issues in attaching the hose. The hose comes with an insulation sleeve preinstalled. The build quality is of metal and high quality plastics. The design is easy on the eyes, it's cylindrical shape setting it apart from its boxy competitors. The height and placement of the mesh allows more surface area for air to enter the machine, and along with the top facing air outlet and insulated hose, less warm air from the machine itself can be expected to be taken in. The unit is quite heavy, but rolls well on hard floors. Though difficult, a bit of lift allows it to roll on medium pile carpet. The remote is an interesting shape with all basic functions controllable from it. Its unique shape also works with the design of the device, wherein the center of the top air outlet acts as a magnetic base to hold the remote when not in use. As far as operation, the device is actually quiet when on low (clocked at 38-40 decibels), providing a manageable work and sleep environment. The compressor is audible, but does not prove to be much of a bother (43-45 db). A scheduler function exists in the mobile app, and the Eco mode helps to reduce noise and power usage by only turning on the fan and compressor when necessary. While it is expensive, I definitely recommend this product for anyone in small to medium rooms that house PCs and other heat generating devices. Note: The app lists an ionizer option, which is intended to kill bacteria and mold in the air. It is off by deafult. There is reason to worry, however, as ionization causes oxygen to form into ozone. The level needed to kill bacteria and mold is toxic to humans and can cause permanent respiratory damage. Ozone can linger for 30 minutes or a few hours before breaking down back into oxygen. It is unknown if the device has any safety features in this regard

    Good unit, good price
We still haven't really had our portable air conditioning unit for long, but after don't some research and shipping around, it seemed to be the best unit for the best price for our situation. It has some great features, including being able to control it from the app on my phone, including setting a regular schedule daily with it. We found out that it is much quieter than a comparable unit from another brand we've had for a couple of years now, and seems to be able to cool a larger area. So far, we're quite happy with it.

    Great unit
I have now owned three of these models. Not a single one would connect to the WiFi as advertised, so I've always had to use the remote. One brand new one didn't cool, so Frigidaire made it somewhat easy to get a replacement. You have to handle your own disposal of the faulty unit, which is a complete pain in the butt. All in all, aside from being a louder unit, it serves its purpose. Possibly overpriced though! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Very quiet, looks great, love the operation
The unit looks very nice and is very quiet compared to other models I have experienced. The Google Assistant is a little awkward but it does work. You have to ask Google Assistant to ask Frigidaire to perform functions for you. Would highly recommend this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Stylish AC
Really cool AC! It doesn't look ugly! It is a bit noisy like a standard AC but does the job! Except my ac did not come with control. However, the app is very useful and cool to manage from wherever you are! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    I'm Very Pleased...
I'm very pleased with this air conditioner from Frigidaire. They make great air conditioners and what I really love about it is that it is wi-fi capable- meaning, I can turn it on while on my way home from work. Stepping into a cool room is critical to unwinding, comfortably. Im very happy with this purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Underwhelming
I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm disappointed. Doesn't get quite as cold as one would expect. It is serving one room but doesn't do a great job of cooling it down. When I took it out of the box it was covered in a dusty black residue (see photo). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
