Works well and is reasonably priced
Looks nice. Cools great. Easy to install. It's not the quietest ac but it's not loud or irritating. Very pleased

2nd Frigidaire never again
First and foremost the AC does not blow cold air at ALL! Every time the compressor comes on it shuts off for a few seconds and then restarts with fan blown air no COLD air. Impossible to sleep in my bedroom. I didn't pay for a $310 fan. I want cold air not a warm blowing fan.

Cools decent, but LOUD. Garbage remote..
Bought this a/c 10 months ago when the price was much cheaper. I finally got it installed last week. It cools fairly decent, but only on high fan speed.. which is so loud that I have to constantly be changing the volume on my tv as it kicks on and off. Low and medium fan speeds are much quieter, but they don't move the air enough to cool well. The remote is garbage.. no light, no temp sensor, tiny buttons, and you pretty much have to GUESS what settings you are putting the a/c on.. unless you go stand in front of the very hard to see control panel. Oh well, 3 stars because the price I paid was fair, it does work, and it's definitely better than having no a/c at all.

Very happy with purchase but unit is LOUD
First time buying an air conditioner. I have a 400 sq ft apartment. This unit advertises for a 350 sq ft room with 8,000 BTU. I've only used this unit for about 24 hours so far. Pros: it certainly keeps my room cold. I like the remote control and that it has multiple functions, 3 speeds for the air, sleep or eco and a bunch of other things. Also, the price of the unit was a high selling point for me being on a budget. It has a sleep move so the unit will turn on when it detects the temperature going up and shut off when it's at the correct temperature. In addition, the unit is small in comparison to other window ac units and does come with the mesh stuff that fills the window where the unit does not. Cons: It's. Very. Loud. I work from home

    Satisfied Customer
Bought this about two months ago to replace an air conditioner that died. The old one was the same BTU but a different brand. This one is quieter, does a better job of cooling our living room, and our electric usage has gone down compared to the same month a year ago. No thermostat on the remote control, at least none that I can figure out. Yes, I would buy another one if I needed to keep a different room cool.

    Powerful unit
Just installed this unit after ordering and receiving it last week. It works great for the room it is installed in. However, it didn't fit very well in the window. We improvised and made it work. Apart from the little hardware issues it's a great purchase.

Nice and cool and easy to install!
This unit is awesome! I have hard-to-fit windows so anything taller than 14 inches would not fit. Most smaller units are only 5,000 or 6,000 BTU but I wanted more. This 8,000 unit fit perfectly and it is nice and cool(chilly, even!) in my bedroom. I have a central unit but it's 100 degrees outside and this absolutely helps take some of the work off of the larger unit. It has an ECO setting to save energy and it may be blazing outside, but it is 68 degrees inside! Great, all around!

SHIP TO STORE DONT USE ONTRAC SHIPPING
I searched high and low for a air conditioner and I wanted some that was brand name. The air conditioner itself is great so far. I did however notice when I took it out of the box and it was damaged during shipping I'm sure. I contacted Walmart and they game me 10% off so I could keep my air conditioner very satisfied with that decision. They are hard to find in the Pacific Northwest right now. However the shipping company OnTrac is the worst shipping company out there!! They weren't here when they said they would be, just left my package on my door half our together and air conditioner on it's side. Seems like complaining another this shipping company doesn't anything either.

Need Something Better... Not Powerful Enough.
This AC looks fantastic compared to the one that came with the apartment I'm renting. Really good size that made it easy for me to carry up. Installation was ok but I wasn't able to snap the side panels into the slides properly so after installation, they came apart which was annoying. Another thing was, when I read the product description, I was under the impression I was getting a remote that has the temperature on the black screen and sensor. Instead, I was set the "basic" model remote that has a black panel on the front which does absolutely nothing so it makes it purposeless. The remote itself looks old and ugly as-is so not having that extra feature and having to pay extra for a different model unit just to use the feature made me unhappy. The little LED lights on the unit are tiny and difficult to see, so even if you're using the remote, you're doing a lot of guess work. That could've been solved had the remote had the sensor/screen feature. The high fan setting was so loud, it's impossible to hear anything else in the room. Lastly, while the AC has been able to cool my room moderately that's about 12x14ft room, there's no way that it would cool the 350 sq ft at any setting as it claims on the package. It's an inexpensive, small-sized unit but it's underpowered based on my usage. I had it set to 66ºF during a 90ºF NYC day and half my room was still hot. Everyone else I know who have different ACs were able to get away with 73ºF with theirs on the same day but I couldn't. If I couldve exchanged for a different AC, I wouldve but I threw the box out already.

    I'm disappointed
It sounds like the fan is grinding. I checked and made sure nothing is in the unit...it is super clean too. I bought this 7/2020. After a couple months of use and sitting in a closet...it is now super loud. I tried to call Frigidaire tech support, but the message says "due to unusually large call volume" they can't take the call. Their online chat support isn't live. The link for chat support is not active. I spent a little more on this AC hoping to not deal with these issues.
