The Feit Electric Smart LED 9 Watt (60 Watt Eq.) Color Changing/Tunable White Light Bulb is one of the coolest items I've gotten. It might simply be because I'm old, but this is a really amazing item! I can control the light, turning it on and off and changing the colors of the bulb from my phone using Alexa. I can speak to my echo device and tell it to turn on the light and change the colors using just my voice! The bulb can be very bright to very dim and any shade of reds, blues, greens, etc. I want to get several more of these bulbs for the inside and outside of my house!

they are a cheap alternative, i have bought several but one stopped working after 6 months. not sure how the other ones will last

    Absolutely amazing smart light
    This smart light by Feit Electric is absolutely amazing. It changes color, dimness or brightness, can be turned on or off using the app or voice commands through Alexa. You can even set it to turn off or own on a schedule. All in all, it's absolutely amazing. I've already bought multiples of this and will continue to replace the other lights in our house with these. These are simply the best!

    I'm in love!!!
    First, start with I am NOT tech savvy. I had no intentions of doing anything "smart" in my home. I was against the grain for everything! 15 minutes with this little bulb I now want to go buy a bulb for every socket in my house! I want to make everything SMART in my house if the developers make it this easy to use. It also talks about saving money/energy as well. I'm excited I get teal lighting!! ? It took me literally 10 minutes to download, register and figure out all the fun little features. I can do my color in the rainbow, any brightness, dimming, set schedules and I can even play music!!! Seriously!! I am ordering more today. If you are scared of technology, start with this little bulb. You will see exactly what I mean!

    This is a nice and smart bulb. It looks and feels like a typical LED bulb but don’t be fooled, because there is some serious techno-wizardry going on underneath the hood of this bulb. Before you can use this bulb in all its glory, you have to download the FIET Electrical app, create an account, sync the bulb with the app via Bluetooth and then add the bulb to your wifi. It’s quite a few steps but it went fairly smoothly for me with just a hiccup trying to get it to attach to the wifi. Turns out it was taking me too long to enter the information for my wifi that was causing the problem. Apparently if the bulb stops blinking it’s taking too much time. The instructions didn’t mention this but on the 3rd try I figured it out by myself. Once everything was done installing, the firmware updated automatically. This was great and made me feel confident that any bugs were already worked out so I didn’t have to deal with them. The install process also added the bulb to Alexa for me which made it a truly seamless experience. You can use this bulb as a standard ordinary bulb but why not take advantage of all the features using the app. The app provides the ability to dim the bulb, change the temperature, change the color, use some effects like automatically changing colors, and scheduling when the bulb goes on and off. Other than the effects, the features are very useful and work very well. However I would have liked the app to tell me the temperature in Kelvin when making those temperature adjustments, so I could accurately make it match the other bulbs in the room. The built in effects in the app are disappointing at best, but the app lets you make customized effects on your own. This bulb will be great orange during Halloween, pink or red at Valentines day, flashy during birthdays and New Year’s, green during St. Patricks Day and so on. I would definitely recommend this to others.

    This item is terrible. Give it 2 stars reason because the bulb turns on only manually with several Attempts to try to connect it to the app. I was unsuccessful. Therefore, I do not recommend this to anybody.

    Cool light bulb
    My daughter is using this bulb in her room. She really likes the different colors it has as well as the option to change it through an app. You need to register the bulb with an app downloaded to a phone or tablet,connect it to your Wi-Fi and e mail which was pretty easy. I personally would rather only screw in a light bulb but my 10 yr old thinks it's the best thing ever so if you don't mind what's needed to use the bulb go for it.

    Great light bulbs
    This is a great light bulb for many reasons. My grandson loves it because he can turn his light on and off and change the color of the bulb. You can either choose one of many colors, or let it rotate to all different colors. However, after watching him play with this bulb, it gave me an idea. Since you have to upload an app to do this, I bought one for the front door and had my son change the light. Then later I had him turn the light on at the front door. It turned on. I told him that would be great when you go somewhere and know you won't be home till after dark, you don't have to leave your porch light on. That way no one knows your not home. I don't know if it will work on all light fixtures, but it worked on mine. I love the fact that you czn turn on different colors which can be a decoration for the holidays. The light is bright and easy on the eyes. Just love it, already bought a lot more for different people. Highly recommend and each of my grandchildren has one in their rooms. They think grandma is the greatest.

    I got this smart bulb and I think it is great! Not only can it be controlled from an app on your phone, which was easy to install and simple to set up, but it can also be controlled with a voice assistant device such as Alexa, Siri, or Google. It has remote access, can be grouped with other bulbs, scheduled to come on at a preset time, and device sharing. It also has a complete color range for any color you can imagine and the white light is tunable. It is also suitable for enclosed fixtures. It is equal to a 60 watt bulb but only uses $1.08 per year! If you are looking for a smart bulb this would be a great choice.

    Great Smart Bulb For First Time Users
    I LOVE THIS LIGHT BULB! I received one of these light bulbs and decided to try it. I loved it so much I went to the store and bought the rest of what Walmart had…lol The set-up is easy. Downloading the app was simple and then pairing was just as easy. I have purchased smart bulbs in the past, but they were not bright enough, and they worked off Bluetooth technology, which is not the best. This light bulb works off Wifi. I do not think it will slow down your Wifi if you have many devices connected. This bulb can be adjusted in so many ways. From the brightness to how warm or cool, you want the white light. The colors are fun and cool but the pink is not as pronounced as the purple. They are my 2 favorite colors and I would have liked the pink to be pinker…lol This Feit bulb is LED so the bulb never gets hot. LED bulbs help with lowering your electric bill if you switch all your light bulbs to LED. I have read some reviews that complained about it being difficult to pair and did not work with Alexa. First, I used this bulb in my bedroom where the modem and router are both located so, of course, the Wifi is strong there. I used my iPhone 14 Pro Max with the light bulbs so I had no problems using the app. I set up a Shortcut to use Siri...that's actually the only way you can use Siri with the light bulbs. I'm not a fan of this process. It was tedious and I have to use a Shortcut for each lightbulb which is annoying. I would have taken away a star because of this but I'm able to use the app with ease. Also, I need to do more research I could also be doing something wrong. Technology is cool when it works and this lightbulb works and is definitely worth getting!
