Much better than an inversion table
We have owned an inversion table for many years to help with back issues however it's not convenient and uncomfortable hanging upside down just to take pressure off my spinal column. I thought I'd give this lay down table a try and I'm really glad I did! I was extremely surprised by how sturdy it's built and how easy it is to use. We've set it up in front of the TV and have been using it every day since we got it. I definitely recommend this for traction of compressed discs.

works very well
Seems well built and works great so far, with a minor modification. I did not really like the way it pulls from your feet. It took no time to rig a strap to pull from my waist. It then works very well.

    Provides relief to lower back pain
    I purchased this because my lower back pain was getting progressively worse. I felt relief after the first use. It took my pain level from an 8 to a 4. Now, after decompressing for 5 minutes in the morning and evening, I have very little pain while up and walking. I still have some pain while sitting, but it's much better than before. This is not a "silver bullet" that will fix your underlying problem. It will, however, provide relief, mainly to the lower back.

    It does a good stretch for the body without inversion. However, it needs to be redesigned for tall people. The headend of the table is too short for anyone 6 feet or over.
