No suction with cord or batteries
Bought this pump thinking it would be perfect for on the go because it uses batteries as well as cord for home. Yea well today I brought baby home and plugged it in no suction...thought ok I'll just toss batteries in, yea still no suction, not a sound anything...now here it is 12am engorged with a 2 day old baby who eats very little each feeding and no pump!! Over 65$ wasted because I bought multiple boxes of milk storage bags as well as this nonworking pump!!!

    High Recommendation
Love this breast pump. Used with my first baby 5 yrs ago and look forward to using again. Very efficient with good suction and I like that it doesn't have the tubes to have to clean.

    Bad
Suction is not powerful enough. You will also need 3 batteries, which is silly.

Bad design, poor suction, old version was better
The pump has very little suction. I used the older version of this pump for years and it was fine, but they have made some changes to this version. It no longer has a solid plastic float valve to fill the air space next to the pump and prevent liquids from entering the pump. Instead, it has a flexible silicone cup. Where it attaches to the pump is also wider. The silicone cup moves in and out as the pump works. Both of these things together means that a larger volume of air in the pump has to be moved during pumping than before. This produces less suction than previous versions. I never had trouble getting milk before, but I can barely get a few drops of milk with this pump, even first thing in the morning. I got about an ounce one time when I had a ton of milk so that it basically pouring out on its own. It doesn't even come close to pumping the breasts dry. I can't feed my baby with what it can get. I only pump on occasion, so I get it that it doesn't have to be a hospital grade pump. That's why I was fine with the old version. It did the job when I needed it. But if I can't even get a decent feeding's worth when I have plenty of milk, the pump is useless.

    Not a good breast pump
I bought this pump and it didn't even last 2 months. Most of the time it looses suction and sometimes all of a sudden the suction comes back and becomes too strong and very harsh to the nipple. Wasted my money then I had to another brand pump.

    Waste of money
I purchased this 6 weeks ago and it is not working effectively anymore. It didn't last long even with occasional use. The suction power is very low. I am left trying to express milk myself WHILE trying to have milk suctioned out by this machine. Very disappointed. Taking money out of my wallet and burning it is what I feel like I have just done! Zero stars! (Had to choose at least 1 star but not even worthy of this).

    Poor suction. Valve filling.
At first, I thought it was great. But that was when I was getting engorged. My son drinks more now so I can see the real power of this pump, which is low. The power is not enough to get milk out of soft breasts/not full. I have to hand express WHILE pumping to get the milk out because the pump, even on max, does not pump effectively. Also, I have to sit bent over in a very uncomfortable position so the milk will drip. Otherwise it fills the flange and valve instead and doesnt drip into the bottle. I will be contacting Evenflo directly. I'm unhappy and would not recommend this product. Now Im shopping for a new one and don't think I will use this brand again.
