Almost too good!
Can a product be too good? If that can be true, this is a good candidate for the title. As a person with really really tightly packed teeth, I have always struggled to floss with typical dental floss. The stuff is usually too thick and gets caught on my crowns, or simply cannot squeeze between a few of my teeth. Those issues are completely gone with this Equate Extra Comfort floss. The thickness of the floss, or should I say, thinness of the floss allows it to get into every nook and cranny with little to no effort. The slippery, teflon like, material glides along with ease. Add a little minty flavor and you have a superior dental hygiene product. So where does the "too good" concept come into play? That slippery ability to glide into any tight space between teeth also makes the floss tough to grip. I end up using more than usual to wrap around my fingers to get a good grip. That means the floss won't last as long since I use more each time I floss. Unfortunately, if you take away that great feature.... you get the picture. The bottom line is that this is a great product - especially if you have tightly packed incisors!

Equate Extra Comfort Mint Dental Floss comes 2 in a package. Each one is 43.7 yards. This is a product that is gentle on your gums and removes plaque. Slides easily between your teeth. It is hard to use because it is so slick and very thin. It breaks off everytime you use it. Therefore you have to use a lot more. I hate to give this kind of review but I am being honest. I would not recommend this product nor would I purchase it. It does not comoare to Oral-B Glide Pro Health Comfort Plus Mint floss. I have used the comparison product Oral-B and I would buy it but not Equate's product. I do like the nice minty taste which is just the right amount of mint not overpowering. It has nice packaging. It is a poor value for the price. I would not recommend it to anyone. I would recommend they try to make the product better because Equate products are great.

    Works well
    I use a lot of floss. I keep it everywhere. Let me start by saying I like dental "floss" and I do not particularly like dental "tape" style floss. This floss is more of a tape style floss, so it is not my favorite but that is just my preference. Overall, the floss works great. It gets into all the nooks and crannies and gets all the ick out. It has a great minty flavor and it was easy to use for the most part. I say, for the most part, because I do have some major dental work. Some of that dental work is really tight together in my mouth. In those spaces this floss, that is a bit thicker or wider, is difficult for me to use in those spots. That would be my only complaint, but that is strictly a personal issue, not a product issue. Overall, it is great floss even though it is not my preferred type.

    Floss with a scent
    The floss I used prior to getting this Equate Comfort Mint Dental Floss was always getting stuck or would break or split in two. I found this floss to be very user friendly as well as it's sturdiness where it doesn't break while being used to floss. It isn't round like other flosses this one is flat to where it can glide through the crevices between each tooth without breaking. I could go from tooth to tooth without fear of it breaking, getting stuck or breaking in two. The mint flavor is also a good addition to this floss. The only flaw that I found was the cutting segment has to be tighter so that when trying to cut the floss it just keeps going. What I did is tighten the cutting segment so that it would cut the floss without allowing it to keep running through when you try to cut it. Again, great product which I highly recommend.

    Works great, very smooth
    I like this floss very much and the only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I do not like the container and the way that the lid opens, I realize that this is supposed to be just like the name brand but honestly the lid is a pain to get open, especially for people who are not very nimble, the way it is designed does not leave you much to hold onto while trying to pop open the lid. The floss itself is great, very smooth and easy to get between and out of your teeth, I had no trouble with floss breaking or tearing and I really liked the mint flavor, it was mild and smooth. I definitely would recommend this floss, just beware that the container is small and not easy to open so it may be difficult for people who have a hard time grasping things.

    Just what I was looking for
    A nice ribbon of floss. Great for a complete floss as you 'hug' each tooth. Comfortable on your gums and on the wound floss on your fingers. A bonus is the rounded edges on the package and also the ease of dispensing and cutting ease. Dispenser color is pleasant too!

    Great Floss/Good Value
    This review is for Equate Extra Comfort Mint Dental Floss. I floss twice a day religiously. And I'm picky about my floss. Bargain brands break and shred, making a mess. So, I buy the good stuff. Which gets expensive. Which leads me to Equate Extra Comfort dental floss. This floss is wider than normal floss. It is strong and doesn't shred. This floss glides easily between my teeth (including crowns) removing debris. It definitely compares to my other brand of floss which sells for almost twice as much. My preference is for a non-flavored floss, but the mint flavor leaves a fresh taste in my mouth.

    Great tooth floss
    This tooth floss gets my teeth clean very well. It has a minty taste to leave my mouth feeling fresh. The floss is easy to get in between each tooth and get out any build up or dirt. The floss is comfortable on my gums and does not tear up my gums. This floss does not break for when I am tugging around my teeth trying to get them clean. I really like how this floss feels on my gums and it cleans in between my teeth very well.

    **** I received the Equate Extra Comfort Mini Dental Floss to use and review. This floss slides easily between my teeth with no shredding, and leaves a nice, light mint flavor. This light mint flavor leaves a nice, fresh feeling in my mouth but is not overpowering like some. **** The Equate Extra Comfort Mini Dental Floss came with 2 containers with each containing 43.7 yards (87.4 yards total) Having 2 of these means I can leave one at home and carry one in my purse. I like the lid cover and feel safe in just leaving it in my purse and no debris getting into it. Another thing I noticed about this floss is that it seems to be softer than other dental floss. **** The Equate Extra Comfort Mini Dental Floss cleans between your teeth, leaving a nice soft refreshing feeling while leaving a nice soft mint flavor. It does the work it is designed to do and with a nice feeling afterward. **** I would recommend the Equate Extra Comfort Mini Dental Floss to everyone.
