Awesome product.
My son had a large portion of his intestines removed when he was a new born and because of that even now suffers from almost non stop diarrhea. The doctors told us to use a product with the highest level of Zinc Oxide we could find. The only 2 products we could find with a concentration greater than 26% was this product and Desitin Maximum Strength. They both have a 40% concentration. But at half the price this product is in my opinion far superior to Desitin. They are virtually the same thing with active ingredients and you can not beat the price. We have saved hundreds over the past few years using this rather than Desitin brand. I would recommend this to anyone with a child that has sensitive skin and frequent rashes. The 16oz jar makes using it easy and convenient.

Smells disgusting
Got this thinking it was generic Desitin.... it is not. it STINKS. it has a fish oil odor in the container and after a while in a diaper against a warm baby body it STUNK like the south steet seaport. I half think my bottle must be spoiled if that's possible because that is gross. no one's child should smell like a day old fish.

    So very sorry I spent my hard earned money on this. I am a huge fan of many generic/store brand products. Not this one! Yes, its cheaper than Desitin, yes it is 40% Zinc Oxide like Desitin, BUT it is NOT a paste and it does not smell good. It melted and sort of ran on warm skin, unlike Desitin which is a true thick paste. Forget spreading a thick layer on the skin like I can with Desitin. This is more like a thick lotion. The jar sat on my bathroom shelf for awhile and the product settled, with a layer of brownish yellow oil on top. Yuck. Never happened with Desitin. Granted, it's better than nothing, but the pluses end there. I'll go back to Desitin eventually. Sadly, I live on a very tight budget and really can't afford to toss this, so I will probably have to use it. It will be a constant reminder of my mistake. Never again.

    Packaging needs improvement
    My local Walmart was constantly out of stock with these so I ordered them online. They usually either come with stickers on the lid or in a big ziploc bag to prevent this from happening. They've got to be consistent with caring for the products.

    Very disappointed !
    I ordered four containers of skin protected for my nurse to put on my bottom daily. I'm paralyzed from the waist down all I do is lay in bed I ordered the skin protected so I didn't have breakdown on rear end in the back of my legs because this can cause bed sores. the shipment arrived in a timely fashion but all four containers were leaking out in the box they were shipped in. Im very unhappy, this will be my second time ordering from Walmar,. my first and the last. sincerely Ray low.

    DOESN'T WORK
    i honestly was disappointed in this product. i was thinking it would be close to desitin -maximum strength- since it too has the 40% zinc. the product didn't work for my little after 2 days or even over night as i read in some of the reviews. the paste is VERY thin like and desitin is a very thick paste that actually sticks and stays on the skin. i wouldn't recommend this product. i now have a full tub of diaper cream that i won't be using...

    The only diaper cream that works for me! This is an excellent product for those who dint want to pay $14 per bottle of the Desitin brand. This is basically the same but for half the price!

    will not be buying online again
    I love this cream but unfortunately I received it in mail after buying it on Walmart app and opened the container to see a huge chunk missing. I have bought this item in store many times never happened. I'll stick to buying at store I don't understand why this would happen but it's ridiculous so much is missing
