I don't recommend EZStart Heavy Duty PackagingTape
Not easy to peel at all. It is really thin that for each use, you have to spend time to peel it, because it rips so so so easily in many parts. Very bad quality for a Heavy Duty Tape. And it is far to be Frustration-Free as mention on the tape refillable Dispenser. I bought a first time , I thought I wasn't lucky and got a defected one, so I buy it again a second time a year later, same problem.

    The teeth actually cut the tape!!!!
    FINALLY!!!!!! This tape gun WORKS!!!!!!!! the teeth on this tape gun actually cuts the tape! do u know how frustrating it is to tape a box and the tape gun doesn't cut the tape ur grabbing for scissors!!! yea the red one idk the name but its sold next to this green one. the red one is horrible!!!! this green one does its job!!!! thank you for making the teeth sharper!!!! i was thinking it was too much to ask until i tried this brand. i returned 14 boxes and bags after Christmas returns via mail. the tape sticks and the teeth cut the tape for a great price THANK YOU!!!!!

    Definitely NOT Heavy Duty
    Definitely NOT Heavy Duty. Extremely thin and doesn't stick well at all. Too bad I opened the package and used some otherwise i'd be returning it. Curious why they advertise it as "heavy duty" when it's as thin as dollar store tape and the adhesive barely sticks to anything. Going back to 3M.

    Not the cheapest but easily the best value in packing tape. It's very strong, It's very clear, it very sticky and it will stretch without breaking. Don't waste your money on the entry-level cheap stuff. It will just frustrate you.

    Hit or Miss Doesn't Always Mean Mistake
    Although I thought I had ordered a different item, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only had I gotten an item I really wanted, but I had the necessary dispenser from an earlier un-related (and forgotten) purchase, but it turned out to be relative to my REAL NEEDS! Packaging is something I take seriously, and not having the necessary materials at hand makes me FURIOUS! These little tape refills are going to make my DAY! Most of my previous orders for sealing tape had been "Hit, or Miss" -- with me getting either the tape itself which required using a pair of scissors, and remembering to put a tab on the roll, so as to be able to FIND the end, or forgetting to do so which necessitated scraping s knife blade over the roll or using a fingernail to find the end . NOW, along came the dispenser "KITS". Yippee! Now I had both tape and dispenser TOGETHER! Now to re-order just the tape. Here is where it gets "sticky" (excuse the pun) Either I got the tape too big for the dispenser, or I got it too SMALL! (my bad). Now I have both the proper dispensers for the big rolls AND for the small. EHREEKA! TAKE MY ADVICE -- take the plunge -- buy both a small KIT (with dispenser) AND a LARGE KIT -- (AGAIN WITH MATCHING DISPENSER) Keep the info on both kits, and when you run out of EITHER ONR, Look up the correct tape, and place the order. Anyone need a collection of (empty) tape dispensers that do not fit any known fornm of raw tape??

    Doesn't Stay on Tape Gun
    I've been buying and using shipping/packing tape for 15 years. This is one of the worst. I had to buy it in a pinch for work, figured the good brand was trustworthy. The rolls wouldn't stay on a standard tape gun. Every rotation caused it to fly off - the inner diameter of the roll is slightly bigger than normal. Frustrating. Won't buy again.

    Less than expected
    You get what you pay for, not what is described. This is neither EZ start nor one handed. But it is cheap. The cutting blade is the best feature and that is less than ideal. I don't know how long it will continue to cut the tape, but for now it works - sort of.

    This tape really does start easily. I haven't been able to get the old roll of my dispenser to put this one on so I end up having to restart it frequently - but no problem.

    Strong tape, easy to use.
    This is really good, easy to use tape. Strong, easy to unroll. Best of all, it is easy to restart when the open end rolls back onto itself.
