Amazingly Fresh
I instantly felt like my clothes were transformed from first use. I really enjoy a lingering scent on my clothing after washing them. I have used lots of products and nothing delivers like Downy April Fresh. It is truly more than a fabric softener. I do believe it protects my clothing, softens it and makes it smell incredibly good. Mother in law keeps
Mother in law keeps buying this for us, she doesn't like dryer sheets (she doesn't live here, and hasn't even visited here in over 5 years so I don't get it but whatever) when she first got it a few years ago she warned us to make sure we dilute it with water by half, saying that it had plugged up the dispenser on her front loading washer and the repair guy said it was a common problem with this fabric softener. Guess who's fabric softener dispenser stopped working on their front loading washer about a year later? Yep, ours! And I was diluting it by a little more than half too. It's not like we have money for a repair guy to come out, or money for a new washer. My point of this review is to warn others who have a front loading washer against using this fabric softener. Just don't do it, even diluting it- it's ruined the dispenser. The whole line going down into where I can't get to is gunked up with fabric softener residue.

    Oh I thought that
    Oh I thought that this fabric softener was just fine. I never noticed that my clothes were not soft after I washed them. I also don't think that they had any weird texture on them. This has a nice fresh smell but I don't think the smell carried over to my clothes very well.

    My mom never used
    My mom never used fabric softener, so I never used fabric softener. Well, I was today years old when I learned what my clothes were missing. A little history.. I've struggled with static, crinkles and wrinkles. I'm big on saving money, DIYs, fragrance free and I really try to steer away from chemicals when i can. I've made wool dryer balls, aluminum balls and put vinegar in the rinse cycle.. all those do help, especially vinegar, it works really well to soften fabric! But the smell lingers even with essential oils, and my family complains. Ok, back to my review... Downy really makes your clothes soft, manageable, static free and really helps fabric from wrinkling so bad. Plus it smells really good! I use fragrance-free detergent, so adding a little softener to my laundry is just the boost with benefits my clothes needed. Happy to know this little secret!

    Down fabric softener has
    Down fabric softener has been my go to for years. Delicate on fabric and a little goes a long way. I won't wash bedding or towels without it, they just feel rough otherwise.     Long lasting smell
    There are dozens of brands of fabric softener out there to chose from. But Ultra Downy April Fresh is the best. The smell is clean and lasts for weeks after washing. You don't have to use very much in order to see the benefits of using Downy over other brands. There is never any stiff fabric feeling and my dress shirts are less staticky than when using other fabric softener. I love how my clothes smell and feel fresh out of the dryer when I include Downy April Fresh in my washing routine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Seems to do what they claim
    Downy has quite a few claims regarding the benefits: Softens, freshens, reduces wrinkles, reduces fuzz and pills, prevents static, keeps colors bright. On some it is hard to tell if makes a substantial difference but it seems to work. I washed a sweater recently that previously came back from the cleaners a touch faded and a little pilly. The next time I washed it myself and used Downy. It looked good after the wash. I was afraid it would further fade or pill more but it did not and if anything looked a little better. In general, the reduced static and fresh scent are very noticeable benefits. While hard to tell if there are less wrinkles, and reduced fuzz and pills, I am not noticing wrinkles and fuzz/pilling problems so it is difficult to argue that it does not work. For the more obvious benefits alone it is worth it. A little goes a long was as opposed to some of the cheaper fabric softeners out there and if you get some of the other benefits over time it is an added bonus.     I Love The Downy Fabric Enhancer!
    I've honestly never used fabric softener in my daily routine. I always thought it was for the more delicate clothes. The first thing I noticed was how much fresher my laundry smelled, even sports uniforms (including the socks!) :) The April Fresh scent is "flowery", but not too overpowering. The next thing I noticed was how much softer everything was, even t-shirts that I've had for years are much softer after just the first wash. My towels also seem softer and fluffier.     I think from time to time we get wrapped up in new stuff, new brands, new smells and it’s not until you get the whiff of an old same old same ole that you really realize - why did I ever switch?     Sensitive skin review.
    So I will start off by saying I have sensitive skin and I don't like to use fabric conditioner or softener. What I can say is that I have not had any breakouts and I have been using this product for about a week now on multiple items I've worn. The scent I have is April fresh, I'm not sure what April fresh would smell like but to give you a idea it smells like powder deodorant a pleasant smell overall. Even after a week my item still have a fragrance to them and my closet and dressers even smell of the fragrance which I think is an added bonus.
