Perfect!
This portable grill was everything I hoped it would be. It assembled easily - the instructions were not even necessary! - and I was cooking fresh salmon half an hour after opening the box.

Grills Great but Coleman Needs Quality Assurance
Purchased this gas grill from Coleman for patio grilling and for camping trips. The slate blue is a very nice color. It grills wonderfully but I'm not impressed how this item left their factory. There was damage and surface rust to one of the support legs and the latch for the grill lid does not stay locked and everything would fall out and when you transport it. I know this has been an issue on previous models and I'm surprised that Coleman has not addressed it.

    Perfect Camping Grill
    Purchased this for my husband for camping. Tried it the day after receiving it to make sure it worked for him (since he's the cool), and it was perfect. It's the perfect size to store in the RV. Just need to order a long hose to be able to connect to the RV propane tanks, and a cover to protect the grill.

    New design not really an improvement.
    I bought the grill because I wanted something portable as I trailer to horse shows with my family. The grill has a great design for portability. I love the stand and the shelves that slide out to make it an all in one cooking station. Things I don't like; the instructions for assembly are not very clear. There in a chain on the legs for something and no mention at all as to what it's for. It doesn't get hot enough when used in cold weather. Also this new design doesn't have a drip tray like the old design to catch the grease. All the grease goes in to the water tray and you have to let the grill cool down to remove it so then clean up is not easy.

    Good Portable Outdoor Grill Option
    Grill cooks well, is compact and fairly durable. The cover is actual porcelain coated and will chip if impacted. Clean up is pretty easy due to the pan that sets under the grates that can also be filled with water for moisture while cooking. Suggest getting the optional hose to use with a regular propane tank unless you want to carry a lot of portable gas bottles with you. The sliding shelves on the side are pretty small and partially blocked by the handles on the side of the grill making the useful space pretty limited when extended. The hood lock is flimsy and comes unlocked easily, thus spilling the grates out when being moved on the wheels in a vertical position. When stowing the legs, the guides for the legs are flimsy and easy bent. Once in place though, the lock does keep them secure. A good option for portable grilling.

    Love my Coleman grill
    I have owned it a little over a year now and have used it several times. Once for a going away party for 12 people, a BBQ for a small car dealership as well. This grill heats up quickly and cooks evenly. It folds up and is easy to handle and lift. It's been better than my expectations, and love using it.

    Good portable grill, albeit cost now premium range
    Like: 1). Assembly was pretty easy (pic's in directions could've been better); 2). Worked well outta box, e.g. no orifice adjustment need; 3). Got up to 600 degrees in 6-7 minutes (see pic); 4). It can be stored vertically Dislike: 1). No hooks to hang utensils - this just dumb. Cost would be minimal to add a couple hooks, vs. putting greasy utensils on the rather small shelves. 2). Not a big deal, but wish it had a lock mechanism to keep it in upright/usable position when using grill, e.g., in case you want to move it - which often happens at tailgate parking lots. Instead, the stand pops/comes out of bracket if you try to move it.

    Best grill I have ever owned!
    If you are a camper, this is the perfect grill for your trips! I use it at home and when camping! be sure to get the replacement griddle and burner. Now you have a grill, griddle and a burner to cover all of your camping needs! I hate using the "kitchen" in my camper! (too cramped) so I do all the cooking outside! Yay!

    Good looking bbq. Good size.. except a few minor litlte things. Screws that hold the lid on were loose. had to tighten them and there were also a few scratches by the knob burners nothing major. Probably due to shipping and, handling. All in all, I am satisfied with this product.
