Thank goodness for Canon
I had another brand of printer, known for its initials only (ahem), and that thing would print once, the ink 'evaporating' before 2 months were out. I bought Canon and it lasted 18 months. I had a big project and I bought this ink just in case. You should too; if you come up short, have a back-up. But, no refills. OEM's make their money from ink and they design the printer to reject (somehow) the refills. Never had one that worked.

243 Canon Ink 10/18/2020
I received this ink on Saturday, October 17, 2020. Put this ink cartridge in on October 18, 2020, and the ink is gone after printing 21 pages. The color ink I got from Best Buy. As you can see from the screenshot that is full.

    RIP OFF
Ink runs out very fast. Unacceptable for $16.00. Some people say they are only getting 25 copies using this black ink. It should be cheaper to print at home. The Library charges $2.50 for 25 copies.

    waste of money
These cartridges are not worth the price. They dont last, I dont print that much, they are so light printing you cant hardly read them. I am going to try and get my HP fixed. Never had that much problem with there cartridges

Don't buy this printer. Save ink costs.
Barely printed 25 pages on this black ink cartridge. Thought the printer price was a bargain but having to buy ink so frequently is expensive so low price of printer is negated. Very annoying to be out of ink so often. I would not buy the printer again to avoid high ink costs.

    Expensive for small amount
Good for about 25 pages. Not long after you install a cartridge, you get messages telling you the ink is low and and it's time to shop from them for more ink ... I don't cooperate with 'coercion'. Went thru 3 back and 2 color cartridges in about 2 months. Searching for alternatives.

    Very Disappointed
Very disappointed in Canon - Black ink cartridge ran out extremely fast. Only made about 20-25 copies/printouts before it alerted me it was out of black ink. Either make it where it will print/copy Ore than 20-25 pages or lower the price.
