Burt's Bees Baby multipurpose ointment
I used the product on my own face before bed and it didn't feel greasy at all. Loved the light smell too! Just a little dab goes a long way! My face felt wonderful in the morning. Babies skin feels wonderful too! lol :)

New formula and strong scent
Such a disappointing surprise when I opened my package (I auto-order three tubs every 2 months from Amazon) and saw a new ointment. The smell is really strong and fruity. I don't feel comfortable using this on my baby and toddler anymore. I'm returning it today. Let me know when you bring back the old ointment and I'll buy it.

It has half of the ingredients than the previous product with yellow label, but added a sunflower oil, it smells different and is less effective. I don't understand why changing such a wonderful product to make it worse. Really disappointed.Marko

With that in mind I have been using this product for 8 years, and when I purchase I purchase 2 at a time. I recently ran out about 1 month ago, went to place a new order only to find out the label was different; thinking oh they just changed the label. To my surprise, once I opened it to find out that the ointment is NOT the same!!! I was devastated! The new formula is not new and improved, it's less rich and smells terrible. The old formula's moisture lasted for my baby for at least 12 or more hours. The new one has to be reapplied after 3 hours. The consistency for the new one is too smooth. I like the fact that the old one actually had the Shea seeds you could see and feel. The seeds actually added to the greatness. The old formula has a more natural smell like shea butter and frankincense, but the new one smells artificial. Please I'm begging Burt's Bees to revert the formula back. I'm very dissatisfied with the new multipurpose ointment.TZee

I have actually sworn by it for 6 years now… my baby girl suffered from eczema from birth, and still to this day we use this ointment on her; and she's 6. It's thee only thing that keeps her skin moisturized but not tacky. It is super lightweight, but thick enough to make a barrier. The smell is also so lovely! I've used this on my babies face, used it on her tender eczema, and my tattoos that need some TLC. I absolutely love this ointment!Jaden

Used to be my favorite product for my daughter now having my second baby was so excited to get this again and have been so disappointed with the new product label and ingredients. Lots of ingredients that were removed from old formula feels like to save money. But now the smell, texture, and effectiveness of ointment is terrible.Ashlyn

I've used the old formula for years on my toddler and it was great for his sensitive skin and it had the best smell.
