I received this product and it works perfect. It is 35% vlt. It comes in different tints. It is fade resistant and also want scratch.Easy to apply strong and durable. It will protect interior by keeping it cool. It can be used on cars trucks etc. This had enough to do drivers window and passenger window on your van and had a lot left over. We have used Black Magic before and would highly recommend it . Thanks Back Magic for a great product.

Decent Product
I was hopeful for this window tint to work on my car. I've put added tint to my windows into the cars I've had in the past. This was the first time I had some issues. The size is decent for the back windows. You do get some scraps leftover, but it isn't much you can really do with them. Always make sure to wash your windows very well. It is similar to putting a screen protector on your phone. You don't want it to have any dust or dirtiness or then the film will bubble. Then you'll be stuck looking at a dust bubble forever! After putting the film on, when I was smoothing it out a piece was scratched and came off. That was a bit disappointing. After that incident, I made sure to be more gentle when I was smoothing out the edges. Once I was more gentle, the film laid flat and looks great. I give it 3 stars because the main selling point of this tint is it's affordable and scratch-resistant. But, it scratched when I put too much pressure. So I'd be careful when installing and make sure you YouTube it to make sure it's done right. The tint is good for cooling the vehicle when it's hot outside so I do recommend getting it for an at home installment.

    Looks nice
This Black Magic window tint was fairly easy to apply to a rear window of a Ford Taurus. The written directions were confusing tho. There was an extra supply item listed that there weren't instructions on howwhen to use it. One roll will only do either two side windows or one back window so if you plan to do more than that, plan accordingly and buy the proper amount of rolls for the job. Overall- little difficult to get into the backseat and manuver to measure especially when it's better to have two people to hold, cut, and apply.

    Quality Tint for the DIY'er
I received this item from the Spark Reviewer program and was asked to provide an unbiased and honest review. The Black Magic Select Window Tint Film is a roll of window tinting film for self-installation. I was reluctant to try this myself. However, after 20 years the tint on my truck window started to bubble. This tint is the “Select”(35%) grade, which means it is the most transparent. I live in a state that does not allow very dark window tinting. This product states it is fade and scratch resistant. The tint is sent in a roll that is 24” x 78”….the package states this will cover two standard rear windows or one standard back window. You will need the tools required for installation(these are not included): razor knife, spray bottle with soapy solution, rubber squeegee, lint free towel. The tint does come with installation instructions. However, they are not the easiest to understand by reading. I really like having a video…so, I used YouTube to find some good tutorials. I'm still not going to say it was super easy. But, you can do it with a little patience. Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the Black Magic Tint Film. I would recommend this product to the do-it-yourself person wishing to provide a little shade inside your vehicle.

    Tints well, not easy task
I gave the tint 3 stars pretty much because no matter how I tried. No matter how much I squeegeed the bubbles would not come out. It wasn't to hard to do even when I did outside with a slight breeze. I was able to cover two rear windows so the kids aren't so hot. Time will tell if it lasts. Using excessive water and natural window cleaner helped. I used coffee filters to clean the windows. The largest squeegee you can find would probably help.

    Great window tint
I got this Black Magic Select Tint, 35 Percent VLT to block out light and harmful rays with this. It is ideal for me because I can do it myself for a much lower cost than taking it to a shop that does that. It is great that this film is scratch resistant since I have grand children that may ride in my car from time to time. I also love that it is fade resistant and is long lasting so it will keep looking good for a long time. It protects the interior of the car by locking over ninety per cent of UV rays, which will be important whenever I sell the car to someone else. It is a good base quality tint film that is two feet by six and a half feet and it works any vehicle, including cars, trucks, RVs, and SUVs. I made sure I cleaned and dried the windows really well before I began applying it. It was really easy to do, but you do have to take your time and be careful to measure correctly before you begin. It does not have that purple color to it, and it is a dark grey. Be sure to check your state's tint laws to be sure this darkness is legal. I believe there is a website for that. I do recommend this product!

Black Magic Select Window Tint Film, 35% VLT
The Black Magic Select Window Tint Film was easy to apply. The only problem I had which took some time and patience was separating the clear film from the tint to apply it. It did not wrinkle, tear, or crease easily as I was applying it. It went on nice and stayed on the window. This product contains the film only and to apply will need the following: a spray bottle filled with clear liquid dish soap mixture, soft rubber squeegee, razor blade knife, and a lint free towel. I cleaned the window first with a non-ammonia window cleaner and wiped dry with a lint free towel to have a clean surface before applying the tint film. 35% VLT allows 35% of the light in whereas 5% VLT allows 5% of the light in. This roll was 2 x 6.5 feet (24" x 78") enough for a mid-size car's two front & triangle windows. It did reduce the incoming heat and didn't notice any glare while driving. At night it was still easy to see through. I liked the product so much that I am thinking of installing 5% VLT for the rear windows. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

    Looks Great
The Black Magic Select Window Tint Film looks great on my car. This window tint was really simple to use not hard at all to put on. I did have someone help me with putting it on my windows, and the after pictures look amazing. This product is really good. I just hope that after time it doesn't start peeling off, but as of right now it looks very nice and sharp on my car. I needed some of this to so it gets less sun Inside and the glare is not so hot from the sun. Just follow the instructions and it is very simple to put on your windows. It was a fun little project. Its kind.of dark but not to dark that you can still see inside. I got the 35% darkness but overall looks great and stayed on perfect.

Good Results for Do it Your Selfers.
I've had my car now for several years and have always wanted the windows tinted. However, I was never too motivated as the cost to have it done by a professional was more than I wanted to spend. I saw this product available and thought it was a nice affordable opportunity to give it a try to do it myself. I started researching for tips and saw most installers said prep work was the key to a good installation. Many recommended removing the windows as it would make it easier to tint but I'm not that handy and besides I didn't want to pay anyone. I discovered there are different degrees of tint darkness which are called the VLT ratings. This manufacturer rates them as 5%, 20% and 35%. This is important to know, the ratings are misleading as a 5% VLT is the darkest as it only allows 5% of the sun to come through so it blocks 95% of the rays. With that darkness it is illegal in many states as it is a safety hazard for police officers to see what or who is in the car. 35% VLT appeared to be a stand acceptable darkness blocking out 65% of the suns rays. Next, I realized this film comes in 3 levels of quality. The " select" quality is basic quality, premium is a mid level and professional is the highest quality. Next, I wanted to gather all my materials for installing and see this manufacturer recommends their own brand of window tint fluid. Window Tint Application Fluid is necessary for installing window tinting film. It is sprayed between the glass and the film and allows the film to be moved and positioned on the glass before anchoring and squeegeeing the film into place. I read the manufacturers directions on the package but personally I thought their directions were just too vague. I wanted the best directions for the best results to I went to the net and discovered this brand has its own video for installation. I thought it odd that on the packaging it didn't make reference to it. I'm happy I put in the research first before I installed the film I found it quite challenging. My neighbor saw me working on it and he came over and gave me the needed extra hands . The film is very thin and wanted to crease so it was alot of work to get it to lay flat. The results came out good and the money I saved came of excellent!
