Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting is a delicious way to top any cake or cupcakes. It tastes great and is very smooth and easy to spread. Its a great quality frosting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

don't buy if you want it to actually stay on cake
If I could give less than one star I would... On a room temperature cake in a 74F temperature house, (cake and cupcakes made 6 hours before frosting the so they are 100% cooled!!) it steeped all down over the cake board and cupcake cups. After I got all of the frosting nice and smooth and piped a border and did the birthday message, as well as piped all the cupcakes it was a total mess within a few hours. Made a four layer nine inch round cake, and 50 cupcakes. It was every single cupcake and the cake round I made, so it wasn't one bad cup of frosting(half was chocolate and half was vanilla frosting of this brand). I made this for a birthday party I had to trash ALL of it!!! The frosting made the cake too moist from melting into it and all over it, so I couldn't use another brand to frost the cake or cupcakes! The biggest waste of time and money, I will never ever buy any Betty Crocker brand things ever again just because of this.

    have always used the vanilla but they just changed the recipe September 2022 and the new version says easier to spread on it. Beware, it is thinner, and runny. In about a day , almost gooey. Prefer the older thicker version. Noticed on the manufacturer's website , it ran off the cake at a party

    The Betty Crocker icing is the best store bought icing I've tasted. We like the vanilla, the marshmallow fluff and the coconut pecan. It goes on smooth and has a great taste on the Betty Crocker cake mixes.
