very sturdy all metal frame
Chaise is both sturdy and beautiful and the pad is very thick. I wouldn't recommend leaving the pad out in the rain though. The slats on the bottom are all metal and not plastic so they won't rot out in a few years. It came mostly assembled, you just have to bolt in the back and the arms, but pretty easy really. Overall excellent value for the price and will buy another one to match.

gourgeos but rusty
we loved the chair and the color. the cushion was fabulous. I put it together last weekend, however it rained all week. sun broke and we went out to enjoy the yard and the steel frame rusted all over the newly stained deck. sadly bringing it back. why can't they make it out of aluminum?

    Don't be fooled by the looks!
    I ordered 2 of these and received one yesterday and the other today. After assembling just one I am not sure if I want to assemble the second and keep. Assembly isn't so bad. As others point out cushion is great but I won't pay over $500 just for that. Base is not made well and wicker looks like won't last very long. Middle feet looks off the ground unless you are sitting on it and hard to change back position while sitting. They used 2 little plastic parts destined to fall and get lost for sure on the adjusting bar. Cushion has no straps to hold in place but I didn't feel slipping ,though if you move around I don't see how it will stay in place. My unit came damaged on front leg, it is bent pretty badly or may be broken, cracking paint and all so definately Im not keeping this one. Color is a gorgeous green that I loved. I wished they put a little more quality in to the workmanship of the actual chaise as much as the cushion. Looks beautiful fom far. İf you just care how it looks in your home go ahead and buy but if you want a quality product which will last you at least a few years, this isn't it. I am dissapointed and will return.

    Working for our use...
    The cushions could be firmer...denser to hold up... but I must admit the fabric is better than I thought... for I spilled 1/2 cup of black coffee and it came right up... no trace... so that's a plus....whew... but I wouldn't leave them out in the Florida sun without a cover... the cushions wouldn't last long... the frame is great though...

    Maybe a option of fabric types for hotter Clements
    Very nice looking and comfortable. Easy to put together. I should have paid closer attention to the type of fabric it gets hot, really hot and fast. One of the arms was bent on its underside. You can't tell by looking at it but i know its there.

    Thick cushion lounge chair
    Can't beat the price for this lounge chair, I had just bought one on sale for $180! Cushions can cost that much alone...I had two from last summer and clearly with the new one you can see how the fabric has faded but I do t mind that at all again for the price this is an excellent buy...! Photo is of my original 2 from last summer...the dogs really love them too!

    great chaise for right price...
    Instructions were pretty bad, especially the illustrations. Use common sense to assemble. However, the screws and nuts were shrunk-wrapped and easy to count with plenty of extras. The cushion is a reddish orange. Four choices of back placement.Cannot comment on durability since I recently purchased. It is very comfortable and looks great on my patio!!!

    A great product for the price
    I already owned the loveseat glider from this collection that they sold last year when I bought the chaise lounge. What I like about the Providence collection is that the cushions are very thick and do not retain water the way many of my other outdoor cushions from Crate and Barrel or Home Decorators do. The collection is also comfortable, attractive and looks like it is much higher end outdoor furniture. I was initially unsure about the green color until it arrived. The green is a pretty color that blends nicely with the natural greenery in our yard. All in all a great product and an exceptional value.

    The lounge was easy to put together taking about 45 minutes to assemble with the parts lining up well. The hardware was clearly marked and the hex tool was included. Instructions were easy to follow. The cushions are thick and comfortable along with a solidly constructed frame. This unit is of far better quality than others costing much more. The only negative aspect is that wheels are not part of the design so you will need to lift the lounge to move it on wooden decks so as to not scrape the boards.
