Great Fit
Ben Hogan Big Men's Performance Active Flex Waistband Four Way Stretch Double Plead Pant is a great fitting pant. I received a pair in black and they appear a little more charcoal in color, but my brother does like it. The pants fit perfect! The lightweight material and wide band allowed them to be worn all day without binding. The pants are made of polyester and elastane, which provided a "no ironing needed" wrinkle-free pant after laundering. The pants have three highlighted features: Power Wick, Power Block, and Power Span Ultra. The wicking was not really noticed by the wearer, since is is in the 20's currently where we live, but will be an advantage come 90° days. Block, as in sunblock also isn't something at this time that can be tested, but an important feature. Span Ultra=amazing fit and no binding!! Ben Hogan pants (I'm told) are extremely comfortable, my brother would wear a pair daily, and he would highly recommend them.

Thin Fabric, Nice Styling
This item was given to me FREE as part of the Spark Reviewer program. The fit is as expected, with the nice bonus of a very forgiving (stretchy) waistband. It has extra stretch for bending over, or just having too big a meal. The color is a nice deep dark black and the styling is classic pleats with a cuff. While the fabric is easy care and resists everyday dirt that you might come in contact with. While wearing, I brushed up against my car, which was admittedly a little dirty and all I had to do was give my leg a quick brush with my hand. Dirt wiped right off. I do not like that the fabric weight is so thin. You can see through it in bright light. This is more blouse weight fabric. When you walk, because the fabric is so thin, you can see the outline of your legs. A heavier weight fabric would be more attractive and durable. One other characteristic is that the fabric has a sheen to it. Given that it is made out of 100% synthetic fabrics, that is understandable.

    The quality is a happy surprise!
    As an aspiring sewist (someone who sews), I've learned how quality clothes are constructed. These pants are quality. The pros are plentiful:The material is made of a wicking fabric. It draws sweat away from the body and protects your skin from harmful rays. It's a thin, stretchy fabric that can be worn in the hottest weather. I'm in GA. It gets very hot here. The black color is a deep black with a sharp crease and a small cuff at the bottom. There are 2 pockets in the front and 2 in the back. An extra button is attached to the tag. The seams are solid. No loose threads anywhere. The waist band has a wide stretchy band sewn in that will give as you play sports. I was curious how wrinkle resistant they are. I rolled them up in a tight little ball. They unfolded and shook out with NO sign of what I had done. My son felt like the sizing ran a bit small. He usually wears a 44 waist. These are a 48 waist. They were a tad big; and he usually wears a 44. They wash and dry easily. The price is great. The only con I see is the thinness of the material if you are going from golf course to office.

    Ben Hogan Black Pants
    I received this item last week. Nice fit as I wear approx. 38 X 29. It fit well; however I do not care to much about Expandable pants. I was pleased on how they felt. Very light weight and comfortable. Double pleat is what I wear the most. I have worn them twice to work. They came out of the dryer with only a few wrinkles. Does not take any time to iron them thou. I like the pants and would recommend them to anyone.

    Nice Lightweight Slacks for Golf
    The slacks are made in Bangladesh. They are 94% polyester. Machine wash cold and tumble dry on low only. These are very lightweight. If its warm out these are comfortable. They have wicking ability built in to keep your skin dry if you are working up a sweat. This style has pleated fronts and they also have cuffs as the pictures show. The stitching is pretty good quality and after washing there were no dangling strings or other loose parts noted. The front pockets are fairly deep and feel well made. On the back pockets, the left back pocket has a button closure. The right back pocket has no button and it is sewn shut. Even so, gentle tugs will remove the stitching from the right back pocket. Other slacks I have also from this manufacturer share the same right rear pocket being sewn shut, but those almost require a seamstress to open. Not sure why they do that? One big knock on these for me is that they attract every piece of lint or fuzz you get near. Also, you will need a lint brush to get those things off. Had I known this I would not have ordered black. Aside from that, very comfortable, stretch waistband works as expected. The sizing is also accurate.

    Decent pants
    These seem to be a nice pair of pants though i wish they sold them in a 28" length as i'm short legged and have to have all my pants hemmed 2 to 3 inches.The "Powerspan Ultra stretch waistband" does not stretch as much as i had hoped. I have jeans that fit almost the same with no stretch at all. I guess i should have went up a waist size as they are very snug. Being that it's winter now, i'll have to comeback in the summer to edit my review on the "Powerwick" claim thats suppose to draw perspiration away from your skin. It's very humid where i live most of the summer so i'm hoping the makers claims are true. A blend of 94% Polyester and 6% Elastane and do not dry clean tag says.

    Dressy, but Comfortable
    I was not sure if I would like these slacks, but I was pleasantly surprised. I wear them as slacks with a Black Watch jacket, and I get tons of compliments. They are dressy enough for work when you don't need a suit. The coolest thing about them is their comfort and ease of care. I can wear them on my long commute, and they look freshly pressed when I get to work (and when I get back home). The flex and stretch makes them about the most comfortable dressy slacks I own.

    Stylish retro fashion with a quality look and feel
    On receipt of my Ben Hogan Men's Performance Active Flex Double Pleat Expandable Waistband Pant was immediately impressed with the cuffs at the bottom; something I like but haven't seen for a long time. I can see it on jeans, which I wear a lot, but more formal attire? When they went out of fashion I thought, “Is it really a fashion thing, or have brand name manufacturers conspired to save a few cents per pair by eliminating a bit of cloth at the bottom of each pant leg. All that aside, the look and feel of pants is wonderful, with two large back pockets in addition to the front; leaving room for anything I might need to carry close through the day, be I a righty, a lefty, or ambidextrous. The “Active Flex Double Pleat Expandable Waistband” makes for a snug fit without that tight feeling; making my belt an add-on, to accent the waist, and not a necessity to hold them up. The picture will show me wearing them as a front desk volunteer at my retirement housing facility; when I have to dress up a little. The rest of the staff and residents liked the look. I won't be needing the PowerBlock, which Ben Hogan promises will helps prevent the sun's harmful UV rays from penetrating the fabric; because I don't get out in the sun that much anymore; but if they say so, I can well believe it, because everything else I read in the advertisement is right on target; also, the seem to be very durable and highly resistant to wrinkles. All in all, I'm very pleased with my Ben Hogan Men's Performance Active Flex Double Pleat Expandable Waistband Pant; and expect I will enjoy wearing them on a regular basis.

    These pants are a very rich black color with a gray waistband that has Ben Hogan on it. They are very soft and have a stretchiness to them. The fabric helps draw away sweat, as well as keeping your skin protected from the sun's harmful rays. These pants are for people that play golf, or any sport. The fabric seems to be very silky like, very breathable fabric. I'm sure you could wear these even if you don't play any sports, these pants kinda look like slacks, could be worn to any occasion, or even just for everyday wear.

    Very Comfortable Pants
    Ben Hogan Men's Performance Active Flex Double Pleat Expandable Waistband Pants It's a long description for a pair of pants but: This is truly the right description for these pants very comfortable and really smart looking They are very light and the pleats give you plenty of room for movement the expandable waistband is also nice for that little extra room you need at times. Im not a fan of the leg cuffs but these are not real deep so they look very well These pants do need to be washed in cold water and dried with low heat. All in all these are very nice I would recommend these pants.
