Versatile Jogging Stroller
I was given the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a three month old son and a two year old son that both love to go on daily walks/runs with my husband and I. Before receiving this jogging stroller, we only had a regular stroller which wasn't ideal for running. In order to get to the area we like to run in, we have to cross through some pretty uneven, rough terrain. We have owned several strollers, and none of them have performed as well as the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller! This heavy duty, well-built stroller provides a smooth ride for my boys regardless of the terrain we are on with it's excellent suspension system. My three month old finds it comfortable enough to nap during all of our adventures! It is also extremely easy to maneuver when walking, jogging, or running. It turns easily, but I never feel like I'm losing control when running at a faster pace. I absolutely love the extra large canopy! We live in Texas where it is hot and sunny more days than not, and the huge canopy provides excellent protection for my boys! The stroller has an adjustable 9-position handlebar, making it comfortable to push for people of all different heights. I also love that the seat provides great versatility - it can sit completely upright which is great for my two year old and lays almost completely flat which is perfect for my three month old. The one-handed fold feature is extremely easy to use and very convenient when you are trying to wrangle a toddler and have a baby in your arms. The only con that I have found with this stroller is that because it is heavy duty, it is fairly heavy. When the stroller is folded up, the folding handle comes up above my waist, so carrying the heavy stroller to a different location to store is very awkward and difficult. This issue can easily be solved by wheeling the stroller to wherever you are wanting to store it, but I imagine it would be quite difficult to maneuver and put into the trunk of a car. Overall, this is an incredible stroller to use for walking, jogging, or running on a smooth surface or rough terrain and versatile enough to use for any aged small child. I would definitely recommend this stroller! Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller to try! So easy to use it's silly
This is my honest review of this stroller that I did receive from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am currently using it for my 5 and 3 year olds to take turns in while the other rides their bike. I have owned and tried other brands but this one is better than the rest I have used. Pros: It is lighter, smoother, and easier to maneuver than most. I have used this mostly for walking and some runs when my kids let me. I live being able to let it coast with less effort than I'm used to. The air filled tires glide better than most solid rubber tire systems. The brake system is way better than a hand brake cable system. The storage basket is ample in size. The buckle system is way easier and sturdier than anything I've tried. Cons: There is no handbrake. It is nice especially when going down hills to have a break, especially for emergencies which is harder to reach out with your foot for the foot brake. It does have a tethered strap to place your wrist in though. The cover/hood is not fully integrated so there are gaps on the sides. It is still quite large when folded up, but emery's to fold and sturdy. Again, truly my honest opinion. I would buy this if it were on sale. It will definitely replace what I have been using. And will save me energy both in set up and on my walks and runs! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Comfortable, large, strong.... too large?
I am excited to write this review as I really am loving this stroller that I received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am blessed to have 2 other strollers in addition to this Allterrain Jogging Stroller, and I can tell you, that this has become my favorite. Of course, there are things that could be better but let me explain! I live on a farm with my 3 and 1.5 year olds. We are outside ALL the time and often have to carry many things. I have a 2 kid stroller which is nice and have had for 4 years now. We also have the BOB Rambler travel system. For this review, I thought it would be best to compare the 2! Bottom line- I would without a doubt go with this Allterrain jogger. 100%. Pros- -Its big! My 3 year old sat in the seat and my 1.5 year old tagged along on the front (I know, not the safest seat but man does it work!). I also put a full basket of produce in the storage compartment below and had my phone in the handy holder at hand level. -It seems to be almost self propelled. It is not, but when I began running with my 3 year old strapped in, I gave it a push and it seemed to just go along where as the rambler requires active pushing. You know you are jogging with it. Things I love: handle adjusts to fit you, HUGE sun shade with a sweet magnetic closure, "mom" pocket for your things (an add on for our other strollers), an actual easy fold up. Really is 1 handed. Things to think about: -Its big! It will take up a lot of room in your SUV if you plan to bring it somewhere. It was light enough for me to carry with 1 hand but was also bulky which made it difficult to get through the door when folded. It is much bigger than the rambler even when folded. With its size in mind, it is also a major positive. I am exceptionally pleased with its ease of movement, ability to take on paved and gravel roads as well as bumpy dirt/grass of my farm. It is big but easy to push when jogging. Very happy and I recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    BIG Stroller Upgrade
I am in love with the new Bob All Terrain stroller! I've had a much older version of this stroller that I've used for the past three years with my daughter, and I honestly didn't know it could get any better until I got this new model in my hands. My favorite feature is the adjustable handle. I'm 5'11 and my husband is 6'3, and I can tell you there are not many stroller that are comfortable for us to push. This one takes the cake! I typically run or jog with the stroller, and this one is super easy to push and navigate with one hand. The suspension is fantastic and makes for a smooth ride over our bumpy sidewalk and jumping on and off curbs. I also love the large storage basket underneath that is still accessible while my daughter is sitting in the stroller (a big difference from my old model.) Another huge selling point for me is the near-flat recline and the extended coverage of the canopy— this will be super helpful with the baby that will be joining our family soon! I wish that there were built in cup holders for the adult, but it's easy enough to buy a parent console and attach. Overall, I am thrilled with this stroller, as is my husband, and my almost 3 year old daughter gives it two thumbs up for comfort! I know we will enjoy using this for years to come. If I could rate it higher I would - Awesome Jogger!
Hands down this is the BEST stroller jogging experience I have ever had. As a runner having a jogging stroller that is easy to handle and that rolls well (true and easy) is super important as it really can make or break your jogging experience. My previous jogging stroller was an absolute bear compared to this stroller - so much so that I dreaded going out for a run with the little in the stroller. It is such a relief to have found a stroller that you do not need to fight while running. I am honestly in love. So, here is my pro/con list: Pro: 1. This stroller moves great! It rolls nicely and is easy to turn (you do need to push down a bit to turn as with any fixed front wheel jogger but that is easy to do). In fact, it rolls so nicely that I have not noticed my times significantly impacted – am I slower with the jogging stroller than without? Yes, but it is not nearly as much of an impact on my times as I have seen with other strollers. I attribute it to the better-quality bearings and suspension that this stroller has. 2. The rider LOVES the ride! Seriously, they love it; after our first run the only thing the little said for quite a bit was “more?” and weeks later they still come running when I ask if they want to come for a run. This is fantastic because you never want to have to fight your little into the jogging stroller – puts a real damper on your run to start off that way! The seat is padded in all the right ways, the harness system is super easy to adjust, and the sunshade has awesome coverage. 3. Easy to set up and folds down nicely. Though I tend to just park my jogging stroller at the end of a run, this one folds down easily and is relatively compact. 4. The back wheels are closer together than on other jogging strollers. So, hear me out, you might think this is not ideal for jogging, but it really seems to be! The narrower profile makes the stroller easier to maneuver, you fit in tighter spaces, and, if you jog with a k9 companion, it allows for your dog to be closer in with you while not getting hung up. Side note - dog is way less terrified of this stroller than our previous jogger and I think that this might be a good part of the reason. Cons: 1. Your child will want to go out running more… OK, maybe that is not really a con! I really had to think about this one and I am not coming up with any true cons so instead here are my two additional thoughts… 1. My little is quite petite so the harness could use to go down just a little further to be a “snug” fit but it works as is - they are safely contained and as I said very happy with the comfort level. 2. I wish I had the Pro version for the hand brake and the covered cargo basket. The covered cargo basket is just so things can be stowed a bit more securely (though this stroller does have great pockets) and the brake is because we live in a hilly area and it would be nice to be able to slightly brake by hand on the downhills. So, if you are on the fence this may make a difference for you. Overall this stroller has really improved my jogging experience with the little and we both have to say Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this stroller! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Bob stroller!
This is the second BOB Gear stroller I have owned, and it is even better than my first! I was lucky to be able to test this through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm 5'2" and my husband is 6'5" - the adjustable handlebar by far is my favorite feature on this stroller. It makes it easy for us to switch back and forth between users, and my husband might love this stroller more than me. Most strollers are way to low for him to push comfortably. Another bonus is the handlebar can be adjusted low enough my toddlers can push it. (Because they love to "help" mom.) I also really like the new brake design. While we do a lot of walks in the park, grass, snow, dirt, etc. I still wear flip flops a majority of the time, and this brake is easy to put on/off. I'm a huge fan of the BOB strollers and you don't realize how much the suspension system makes a difference, until you are pushing tired toddlers in the sand or up a grass hill. I swear the stroller just floats across whatever surface. The one thing that wasn't any bonus for me, is the one hand fold-up. I actually find it slightly difficult to fold/unfold the stroller, and being short this stroller is harder to lift in- and out- of my vehicle or over things when folded up. Overall, still extremely happy with this stroller and recommend it, especially if you regularly go out to parks, dirt roads, beaches, or other uneven surfaces. It makes a huge difference. Easy to Maneuver and Smooth Ride in All Terrains!
I have used a few different strollers and this is by far my favorite for our family's active lifestyle! When the stroller arrived, you can tell it was packaged with care. It did take me a little to initially figure out how to open it (the instructions were packaged in the middle where I couldn't access them initially) so I'd recommend quickly doing an Internet search for the instructions if you run into this issue too. Once I got the stroller itself open, the installation of the wheels and canopy was a breeze. As for performance, this stroller outperforms all the others I have used. My husband also agrees. The large and durable tires makes it easy to maneuver in a wide variety of terrain which makes it perfect for walks and jogs around the block and on the golf course! It is so easy to move that you can actually do it easily one handed. I also love how the front wheel can either swivel (for walks) or be locked to stay straight (for jogs). The ride seems to be very smooth and quiet, and I like how the tires have treads and are air filled so are able to be refilled if needed. The folding mechanism is easy to manage but I would say you really need two hands to fold it well (one hand to manage the lever to collapse it but the second hand to really push it together tight for storage). It is still easy to do but just something to be aware of when purchasing. Opening it is a bit difficult since it is heavy and bulky and there's no easy lever to make it open (like there is for folding). This is one thing I would change about this stroller if I could. Storage-wise it does require a bit of space due to the large size of the tires and I'd imagine this can cause some difficulty when transporting in a smaller vehicle. We have only used it near home so have not run into this issue but to us this stroller meets our needs well so it is worth the trade-off regardless. It is hard to choose a favorite feature of this stroller but I would say the top things my family and I love are the high size limit (you can use it up to 75 lbs. which makes it an awesome choice to grow with kids!), the extra large canopy with UPF protection (a must in Arizona!), and the height adjustable handlebar (it is the perfect size for even my 6'2” husband and is much appreciated as we have never had a stroller handle go tall enough for him to use comfortably; he says he'll never use another stroller!). I also love that the canopy has a window with a magnetic closure so it'll stay open for viewing of your little one even if it's windy or during a jog. I also love the cupholders in the seat for easy access for my son (which also makes getting in/out easier so you don't have to lift a child over anything in the front). Thank you to the Stellar Product testing panel for providing us with this awesome jogging stroller to try and review! We will continue to use this for many years to come! Does everything stroller - this is the one!
This stroller does everything and looks great while doing it and feels like it will last through multiple kids. My 6'2" husband and myself (5'7") mostly used it with my 14 month old but my tall 2.5 year old snuck a couple of rides and fit comfortably, we love the adjustable handlebar. I've taken it out for daily walks and runs around our neighborhood on rough gravel, to sandy beaches, through grassy fields as well as hikes through the woods, stream crossings included, and have only had a few minor issues maneuvering through some very rocky trail patches (not the stroller's fault, no stroller could have gotten through so we had to carry the stroller). It's very easy to push and the suspension is awesome, especially on gravel and on the trails - smooth sailing and happy babies. This stroller feels well built and sturdy, like it will last a really long time despite being put through the ringer by my kiddos and myself. I was so excited when Stellar Reviews sent me this stroller to review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've used (and absolutely loved) older BOB models before and this one is a HUGE upgrade in ease of use and style. On older models I felt like I HAD To buy the accessories to put my phone/water in but this one has a nice zip pocket near the canopy so I didn't feel like I HAD to get any add ons to be happy. The fabrics on this stroller feel fancy, and look beautiful, as in, I don't feel like I'm taking my rugged mud monster of a stroller to the grocery store. I enjoyed that the confusing plastic window/velcro situation canopy situation from older models has been traded out for mesh and quiet magnets. The recline and harness straps are way easier to change position (one handed, no-rethread!), the harness clip is easier to use and the FOLD OMG THE FOLD! This beauty folds so easily (just open the little trap door by your kiddo's feet) and stands ON ITS OWN which is an absolute game changer for storing this in the garage/closet! I also liked that the wheels popped off easily so I could put them in a bag and wash them when I got home from my muddy hike. The only downside about this stroller is it is on the heavier side, but I feel like BOB has done a great job making it much easier to maneuver with the one handed close so this did not detract at all from me using it. My favorite part about this stroller is that I don't have to think about whether or not what I'm doing is stroller friendly, with this stroller it literally doesn't matter, it will prevail, it will fit, you'll look stylish and your kiddos will be comfy! Worth the investment
I own a 6 year old bob duelie that I love with over a thousand miles on it so I was pretty excited to get to try this stroller for my 18 month old thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It does not disappoint. I've had this stroller for 3 weeks and we've used it for walks around town, running, shopping and some gentle wooded trails. It does not disappoint. I love the size of the canopy. It covers everything but her feet and provides plenty of shade for walking naps. The magnetic cover is super convenient for being able to check and see if she's still asleep without having to stop running. This stroller is great for maneuvering on our towns uneven sidewalks. I often walk in the street because of them but the shocks and maneuverability of the b.o.b mean that I don't have to. It also did great on the local nature trail. I don't know that I'd ever try to run on the trail with it but it did great going over roots and rocks and around tight corners while walking. This storage basket is huge. We fit lunch, towels and the diaper bag with room to spare on a walk to the beach. Most importantly to me, the handling of the stroller is amazing for running. I was a little concerned about the weight but it is fine both uphill and down. I can easily turn the stroller with one hand. There was no skidding or bouncing on our potholed local streets. The only downside for me is the one-handed folding feature. It's not instinctive so I have to think about it and I've gotten frustrated trying to unfold it a couple of times. The cost of strollers always seems so high to me but in this case, it's well worth it. B.O.Bs hold their value incredibly well and are built to last. I'd definitely recommend those stroller to friends whether they're looking for a true running stroller or a rugged stroller for everyday use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Street jogging, off-road trailing, and more!
I've used 3 different strollers since the birth of my first child 4 years ago. The BOB Gear Alterrain Jogging Stroller is hands-down the best stroller for our active lifestyle, especially during this pandemic time. The Alterrain is very lightweight but doesn't compromise on quality. I can easily guide this stroller with one hand on any terrain (no weight bearing down on the front wheel making it hard to steer) whether my 40 lb. 4-year-old is in the child seat, or the my 20 lb. 1-year-old is enjoying a ride. The handle bar is much taller than any other stroller I've seen - this allows me more space to even push the stroller while wearing my one year-old strapped to the front me. Handle bar adjusts low enough for my daughter to push the stroller when she turns restless on our adventures. Very impressed with the amount of space available in the bottom cargo basket. I can fit a large tote/diaper backpack, 2 lunch boxes or small cooler, and a picnic blanket/quilt. The new one-handed twist feature is the cherry-on-top. This is a large stroller but somehow it folds to fit in the smaller trunk space of our hatchback. Assembly is a breeze, just snap on the wheels. Our favorite features include: the large interior cup holder slings - even fits a large size thermos, zip pouch for phone and keys on the back are the perfect size, mesh pockets on the back of the child seat are perfect for quick access to wipes (I'm always losing packages of wipes in the abyss of the diaper bag), and the child harness has a satisfying sound of safety when you clip it together (no light plastic clicks) the harness clasp is quick and extremely secure. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this stroller to try. I use it everyday and it has become my most used piece of baby/child gear. This stroller is really a great value for the quality. I would even be willing to pay more for this stroller now that I've used it - its made such an impact on my own lifestyle - now enjoying 3-4 mile runs every day. I always look forward to mornings with the BOB Alterrain and my child. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
