So, I was hoping for more of a "clay," texture...I usually think of that when I see the words "facial mask." This has the consistency of very watered-down oatmeal. You only need to leave it on for 5 minutes, but make sure to rinse it very well. I usually wet a wash cloth to make sure it's all gone. I do not use toner or serums after this, but a good moisturizer. For the price, it's good and does the job well. My skin felt very soft.
