Watch out for fakes
Looked repacked. Disc couldn't be read by PS5. Disc and label looked fake compared to other games - weight was wrong, faded blurry graphics. Requested replacement.

    I purchased this for my son, and it arrived today. This game was advertised as new, and came with NO cellophane wrapping and the plastic part of the case that holds the insert was damaged and stretched downwards. This looks like a kid owned it for 10 years and traded it in. I thought that I may have made a mistake and purchased a used copy, but this definitely says NEW condition. I'm sure that the disc probably plays well, but it's the principle of it. Don't sell used hot garbage, as NEW.

    Enjoyable, even if disappointing.
    Enjoyable game, but it is NOT as good as Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I do prefer the Viking theme though.

    Another fantastic open world Assassin Creed title
    Awesomely immersive game. If you liked the open world style of Origins or Odyssey you'll love Valhalla. I thought I would you be using my long ship more than my horse but I've found both needed in equal measure. Only downside I've found is that you can't sell unused/unwanted armor for materials nor is there any kind of storage option for them. Romance options are slightly more limited than in Odyssey but it makes up for it in that you can have relationships. There's loads of customization options too - not only for your character, but for your settlement where you can buy decorations really add to the life of your settlement. Mysteries in the world have a wide range and are tons of fun. Reba also becomes readily available for those wanting to spend opals, and the missions you get from him come with excellent rewards. Raids are loads of fun and I believe there's well over the estimated 60-90 hours of gameplay available here. Highly recommend to any open world Assassin Creed fans! There are still some issues needing to be fixed with things like objects clipping and grass vanishing but these will likely be addressed in a later update.
