Quality Acer Chromebook! No need for Macbook!
Amazing product. This Chromebook is replacing a Macbook Pro. I wasn't quite sure how things were going to go but this thing is lightning fast. I can still sync everything with my iPhone using the Google apps. Processing is super fast! Apps load in no time. Mine has the backlit keyboard which is a great feature. Having the metal chassis and the Gorilla Glass touchpad make this thing close to unbeatable and at a third the price of a Macbook. I'm not sure what some reviews meant by their models didn't have the backlit keyboard. I made sure to run the model number on Acer's website to verify what I was getting so perhaps others should do the same. My model is the CB715-1W-35ZK. It doesn't have the fingerprint sensor but that is just an extra feature. Backlit keyboard and an i3 running a mobile OS... This thing is AMAZING! I highly recommend it!

Purchased 11-06-2020. Received 11-8-20. Stopped working on 5-8-2021 with no warning. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this laptop. Walmart will not take it back. I need to contact manufacturer.

    We've had this chromebook for about 8-months and are very pleased with it. It powers on fast and is ready for internet searches before Windows laptops/notebooks can show the power-on screen. The battery charge seems to last about twice as long as a similar Windows notebook (solid state drive, i5 Core, Lenavo) on Wi-Fi searches.

    Im been using this chromebook since last november my old toshiba died on me, so I had to get a new one but I dint want to spend that much money; Let me tell you Im really impressed with the performance of this machine is really fast, stream very good, download and transfer files really good is really fast with the internet browser I can keep going on; But I just going to say is "the best $250.00 I spent in awhile" this machine is nice good and cheap gets the job done if your looking for some basic,cheap and nice machine that can get you basic tasks running this machine is the way to go. The only disadvantaged I see! but is because of me is that I been using windows all my life and this machine comes with the google OS and is kind diferent but the basic are the same but still is taking me a while to get used to it but eventually I will get used to it like I said is not the machine is me , Overall very good decent chromebook no the best on the market but it gets the jobe done well and easy and for that price I think I'm getting way more than what I paid. thanks

    Pretty Great Laptop
    Ended up getting the laptop for black Friday for steal. Screen quality is pretty great for the price. Only complaint is mine was completely dead when I first recieved it but thats about it so far. Will update if there's any issues

    Lightweight, durable, FAST -- backlit keyboard YES
    If you're like me and were wading through the reviews trying to determine what features this model actually comes with it DOES NOT have a fingerprint scanner, but IT DOES have a back-lit keyboard. A huge upgrade over the 13" Chromebook I have had for years. This one is larger but lighter, and has a full metal case which means it should be extra durable. The screen is large and bright, though you might need to scale up on the resolution to read small text -- even at 15.6", 1080p is a lot of pixels! So far with some light gaming, installing all my apps and getting some work done the battery has lasted a good long time. Fully charged and I still have 6 hours left. I love the 10-key and it will make typing notes and documents so much easier. This is a newer Chromebook which means you can enable Linux and also install android apps from the play store which gives it a ton of versatility. I have used my Chromebook mainly as a couch surfing computer, youtube watching, document editing, video conferencing, travel computer when I don't need my full rig. I am hoping this new machine will be another workhorse for several years.

    Easy, simple to use.
    I searched intentionally for a Chrome OS computer and this one had been great. We currently use it for homeschooling and it has been fast and easy to use. Although I haven't looked to see if they can be moved yet, my son (6yo) accidentally clicks on the icons at the bottom because that is also where his "Continue" button is on his school program.

    Product fine; delivery sucked!
    WalMart promised next day delivery if I ordered in the next 15 minutes but pulled an "amazon" and delayed the delivery. If they didn't have next day delivery, I wouldn't have bought it. I needed something that next day; not "delayed"!
