Great chromebook for my two boys
For the price point you get what you pay for and the chromebook works perfectly fine for what my upcoming 3rd and 7th graders need for this upcoming virtual learning. If I wanted the bells and whistles I would have paid for just that. Its a pretty straight forward laptop and I have no complaints about anything.

Horrible Laptop
The screen constantly goes black and will not come back on. It will show the computer as actively on and there will be nothing showing on the screen. I have turned off automatic updates but the computer constantly still updates, every few days. This computer gives you no capability to connect it to a monitor so that you can have 2 screens. My advice is to not buy this product!

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/27/2021TrashIt was awesome for my son's school work BUT it stops working after a few months. It will not charge, would not turn on. Did not drop, wet it or anything. I Tried hard reset, new charging device but it did nothing! Customer service is an absolute joke. States it's not under warranty, told me to get it fixed locally, wouldn't give me any technical information at all. Save your money and buy something else. Highly disappointed.cheryl

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/01/2021Died quick, Acer could care lessI bought this in August, have it as a present in September and it just quit working 1 day in May. Acer says it's not covered under the warranty, won't tell us what the problem is, but will sell us a new one for more than we paid the first time. I thought Acer was better than that.ginaimas

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/17/2020Nothing like a LaptopI thought I was pleased for the first couple of days but then I learned that most all of my most used apps were not compatible with the Chromebook.. Also my games wouldn't fit on the screen even on the 15" screen. But lastly it started filling in comments and forms with continuous X's.. So I finally returned and going to purchase a laptop. The Chromebook is just not for me (60 yr old).Lori

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/14/2020Good deal. The Cromebook is very affordable and will get the job done. I got one for myself to replace my HP laptop after spilled homemade turkey noodle soup on the key board. I love my Cromebook. I also ordered 2 more from my granddaughters from remote school classes due to Covid-19. The grands both love their Crome books also. The only minor drawback is I have to go to setting everytime I get on Cromebook to adjust the lighting. It will reset back to factory setting . Great laptop for basic use.SummerRain612

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/26/2020Great BuyI've had the Chromebook for about two weeks now and I love how convenient it is to log into your account so that you don't have much setting up to do. I mainly use it for school and Got no complaints. The storage and battery life are great. the picture and sound is good. its a really great buy. You could say that I am satisfied with my first Chromebook.Laraina

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/10/2020Worth the priceOverall it is a great chrome book. The screen is sometimes hard to look at for long periods of time and adjusting the brightness doesn't really help. The sound/speaker quality is "Ok." The battery does not last 12 hours, maybe 7 hrs max. I paid $199, so for the price it's worth it.pinkgreenlady

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/02/2020Great for my 10yr old!Bought this for my 5th grader to use for distance learning this upcoming school year. She was using my personal HP laptop, but wanted to get her something that was her own. So far so good! I little adjustment for me as a parent as I have always used Windows applications. Overall she seems thrilled and the screen size is perfect for her! There aren't a lot of options as I'm used to finding on my HP laptop, but maybe I'm not searching hard enough. Wanted to change her mouse option.LEI
