Fantastic Little Power House
Perfect, exactly a spec'ed, purchased for my wife as an early mothers day gift. Runs adobe photoshop editing software with zero issues, cricut machine software with zero issues. At anytime it is always running adobe photoshop, cricut, youtube or spotify all at once. Only game(s) we have tested so far is minecraft and minecraft server. She will probably play league of legends, supreme commander or some other game in the future. Came as spec'ed - 1.) 8GB of ddr4 3200mhz (ram is single stick spec'ed at 3200mhz but is limited to 2400mhz on the AMD ryzen chip in the bios, with no overclocking enabled anywhere), laptop does support dual channel memory with second slot empty for now and upto 32GB. 2.) Kingston M.2 256GB, not the fastest m.2 but gets the job done very well, cold boot times are usually less than 7 seconds. 3.) AMD Ryzen 7 CPU 3750H 4ghz boost clock with RX vega 10 graphics built in and is used as main graphics until a heavy load is detected and swaps to the Nvidia Discrete card. Settings can also be changed to make sure it uses the nvidia card at all times except during regular tasks. 3.) Discrete Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti 4.) 5Ghz wifi 5.) Bluetooth 5.0 6.) Empty SATA drive slot 7.) Usb 3.0 x3 ports, with two of them being 3.1 8.) HDMI out 9.) Ethernet jack 10.) RGB keyboard light (customiseble) 11.) Fantastic Speakers, music is crisp and clear There is probably more i am missing and not listing but this laptop is well worth the money. Only cons i have is you can not overclock through bios or enable the xmp profiles on the ram sticks with an AMD cpu.

wish I would have done more research
decent but I had to add a hard drive and more ram. The biggest flaw is no port for VR, and no way to adapt it.

What is there not to like with this laptop, well..
Cons, the fan does get loud at times when playing MC or watching videos. It eventually gets easier to tune it out. It only has 8gb of ram but then you should have bought a bigger laptop or just pay an additional $120 at another website and get 2 of the 16gb of ram, which I did. I simply love the colors of the keyboard. Since I had to take a typing class on the old typewriters, I have no issues with typing as I know where the letters are. If the lights bother you, it is easy to turn off. Yes it is smaller than a regular keyboard but hello, it's a laptop, it is supposed to be compact. There are plenty of ways to add devices to the laptop, no issues with it all. The only issue that I have, are the programs that I had to install to do my daily things. The laptop handles everything with ease. I would love for it to have a longer battery life but MC is a program that takes a lot out the device, not the device's problem. I will be buying another laptop like this for the kids, but with 16gb of ram. ASUS did a great job on this laptop.

    Works great after warranty service
Works great. The only problem is that I had to send it off for warranty service after about 3 months. It would not turn on but the power supply was working fine, the problem was inside of the laptop. I got it back in less than 3 weeks. Has been working fine for the last 6 months. It was a good value as long as you don't mind being without it a few weeks for repairs.

    A Perfect Match
This is honestly an impressive looking laptop. The guy itself comes in a nice sturdy box that is pretty nice, it also has a carrying handle but I wouldn't recommend using it for travel, even if it's to the corner. As a huge gamer myself I do think that this one is a more that decent piece of hardware if you just want graphics rather than that sweet 240 fps. For the price the build quality is excellent I really appreciate that metallic black that it was painted with, it adds a nice touch. The keyboard lights up all different colors and you can also turn it off if it dosen't fancy your style, or if you just want a bit more battery life, it also has the wasd keys highlighted which is pretty nice. Overall its is a really good laptop at a solid price mine was $800.

    Great laptop but some flaws
This laptop runs very fast. I was a little bit sketched out because of the price, this laptop on the Asus website has different specs which meant that Walmart had to downgrade it for a cheaper price but it still has a good processor and graphics card. Thermals are pretty great for light gaming. Fortnite ran pretty great on Solos but the fans kicked in. They were very loud, I had to wear a noise cancelling headset. I was kinda bummed about the 60hz screen, it's okay but not what I expected. I played many different games on Steam and they ran great too. The keyboard wasn't hot when I played these games. My only problem is the fans, if you are doing heavy work or playing a heavy game then the fans can get very loud. Doing lightwork wouldn't be any problem. You can change the keyboard lighting and effects on the Tuf Aura Software or the Amour Crate software. I reccomend the Armour Crate one since it has more then the ability to adjust the keyboard. You can view more information about the laptop and can also adjust the fans but you can do that by pressing Fn F5 where it has a fan. There are 3 modes, silent, performance and turbo, I recommend silent if you are doing light work and performance for heavier work and turbo for gaming if you have a headset or headphones. Overall, great laptop, I love it. Thermals are great, keyboard doesn't get hot. Screen is also good, but only 60hz. Design is good too, this laptop looks way better in person than online which I love. Fans are pretty adequate. They can get loud but light work won't bother. The build quality is very good too, barely any keyboard flex, screen flex was more than I expected but it feels tough. All the ports are on the left size which I don't really like. Sound quality is okay. Storage is a little bit low, it only has a 256GB ssd and 8GB ram, although you can upgrade it. Lastly, battery life is pretty decent, you'll get about 3-4 hours of normal use and about 1-2 hours of gaming. Overall a great laptop that I would recommend.

    Probably Best Budget Gaming Laptop?
As far as I know, this is the best entry level gaming laptop for your dollar. Look at some other models and see if you can find one with more storage space (without sacrificing other specs). This particular model (which seems to be on sale for $799 very regularly) has just two immediate (but minor) issues. Storage space is very limited (256GB) and RAM (8MB) could be better. Fortunately, these are VERY easy to upgrade. You will be golden for awhile, but come a few weeks you might want some more storage space. The RAM should be just fine for most people. But for hardcore gamers or content developers, you might want to upgrade the RAM later down the road as well. At this price for these specs, this is a very hard deal to beat. I've looked around tirelessly for quite some time now. The CPU and graphics card are very very good. ASUS TUF is nice as the laptop will be more durable , giving it a longer lifespan. I gladly purchased this laptop, and plan to upgrade it later down the road. I hope I helped you make an informed decision.

    Should see this before buy.
Decent PC with a good processor and graphic card(as seen in description), this one cames in black with 256GB storage ssd card and single 8GB DDR4 RAM two slots upgradeable up to 32GB(2X16), the FX505DU claims to be 120hz IPS monitor in Asus web page but this one just have a *60hz monitor, sometimes graphics card struggle a little bit because Radeon/Nvidia compatibility and Asus Armoury Crate app doesn't seem to work as supposed to(basically you cannot touch any settings in graphics because it make it unstable). Poor battery management and if you want the best perform you have to have it connected. RGB just offer only 4 effects (no mixed colors), Aura Sync is not compatible with this PC, speakers is a little bit annoying and feels cringing, If you gonna buy this PC I suggest to use it with headphones, DTS doesn't work with Bluetooth devices but still have a great sound on headphones. I gave 3 stars because of the price this PC doesn't feel like a $800+ device feels like a $500-$600 PC. Still a good PC and can manage to play games but I was expecting something of better quality for that price, and it seems that is what you get to pay more for devices that cames with "gaming" in their name.
