Romance and humor that gently touches you
This is a delightful movie, worth watching multiple times. It prompted me to read the book, (which the movie follows very well) and which is written with insightfully witty humor that gives it depth as well as romance. Yes, watch the movie and then read the book; and when you re-watch the movie you'll see and experience even more of the characters' depth and the nuances of their acting, because you will know their inner motivations. This is a classic both due to its story and because in some form or another, you have gone through some love experience of your own, and this story will be your story.
