Great lamp for needlework
This lamp is just what I was looking for! I needed a lamp for working on my needlework while sitting in a recliner. At first I was disappointed because the lamp was too tall for my needs. I wanted something that would be at shoulder level while seated, would not shine in my eyes, but would illuminate my needle work project. I solved the problem by putting the lamp together using only one pole instead of two. I also appreciate the low cost. Similar lamps sold in fabric stores run significantly higher. I would not hesitate to buy this lamp again.

    Not made to last
    After six months the lamp wouldn't turn on anymore even though it was plugged into a working outlet. Was great while it lasted but would not purchase again.

    Wrong parts
    Looks like it might have been what I needed but when I went to assemble it, the two poles that are supposed to screw together we're identical. One is supposed to have the protruding screw-in part. Since neither had that end, it's impossible to assemble. Oh well, returning this.

    3 Good Months- Now Dead
    Worked well for three months. Then when I clicked the button on, it wouldn't always turn on right away. I assumed when it stopped turning on the bulb was blown. I tried two brand new bulbs, and it won't turn on anymore. Even tried plugging it into a different outlet. No luck.

    Good and bad
    I like the lamp but after I unpacked and assembled it I discovered the bulb was cracked when I removed it from it's box. The store would not replace the bulb unless I repacked and returned the whole lamp so I bought a bulb at another store.

    let there be light
    I bought this lamp in the chrome color finish to replace a similar lamp that no longer worked(approx. 5+yrs old). I ordered on walmart.com and went to the store for the free pick up. The lamp does have some scratches, but for the price(inexpensive) I did not want the hassle of returning or exchanging. I needed a lamp that worked. This site only allows 2 photos,but I have 3, so you are not seeing all the scratches. I would recommend this lamp, it was easy to assemble. Currently had only 1 week and it works just like it should,hope it continues until I no longer need.

    Sunlight Floor Lamp is excellent
    My husband has MDG in both eyes and have been looking for a floor lamp to put next to his recliner. We had one that used "normal" light bulbs and he still couldn't see to read very well. After reading about the Sunlight Floor Lamp decided to give it a try. This has been the best thing. He can now see to read - doesn't give off those nasty shadows, I am now thinking of getting one for myself for my quilting! It was easy to put together and with the flexible neck we can move it around easily. Also the base is heavy so it doesn't tip over like our other floor lamp did. We ordered the "wood" colored one and it blends in very nicely with our wood furniture. Would definitely recommend this light to others.

    Great companion to the desk lamp. Got it in black as a chair reading lamp and to shadow chase the desk lamp lighting. Great lamp/light/design.
