Thank you nintendo!!
Absolutely love this console! I have both the 3ds xl and the NEW 3ds XL. and I can tell you that this one is noticeably superior than the old one; I bought it because the old one had some physical damage, although, still works. So before it dies on me completely, I bought this one for my daughter; Also, I called nintendo, so that, they help me transfer my old purchases to this one (not all of them showed). The guy who answered the phone did it remotely , which he said I could do myself but I rather don't. Also, he told me that, for a small fee, I could play ds games in the wiiu. This is a great upgrade

Do Not Buy
Do not buy this. Nowhere in the advertisement does it say this is a used product, and as soon as I received the console I charged it and went to turn it on, and nothing... The power light came on for a couple of seconds and then clicked off. Not only does it not work, but it was also the wrong model, it advertised the NA version, but sent me a JA version.

Good, but no sd card, and with Luma3DS
Good quality 3DS, I would recommend, however, it doesn't come with a microsd card and mine was already hacked with Luma3DS (I know it's used but couldn't they "unmod" it, like there's tutorials online and the homebrew launcher isn't even on the home menu) and it's a bit confusing how it's hacked without the sd card included. Outside of that nitpick, no other annoying modifications.

    Smooth
I received the console very fast compared to my other online orders. They complain about the charger if you research you would probably know that nintendo intentionally did it for you to have options and not make it more expensive.

DID NOT STATE IT DIDNT COME WITH CHARGER!
Please make sure you review the FINE PRINT before buying. It did not state it didn't come with a charger on the overview, and my daughter was VERY upset when she got it.

    Disappointed
Ridiculous you pay 200+ bucks for this product and it doesn't even come with a charger. The games are the exact same on the wii u. We got that instead. I wouldn't waist my time with a ds again!

Convenience from the comfort of Afghanistan.
Seeing as how I'm 8,000 miles away in Afghanistan, I needed an easy and convenient way to put happiness into the hands of my seven year old. Since Walmart is five minutes from our house, I opted for in-store pickup so my mother of five could run in and out with a minimum of hassle. The 3DS XL was ready for pick-up within twelve hours of my placing the order, and the hardest part of the transaction on my wife's end was the wait at customer service. Otherwise, she was able to get it with no issues at customer service. My son is quite happy with his 3DS XL and was able to figure it out pretty quickly. The graphics and interface are excellent, and Mario Kart 7 has ensured that Daddy done good even though he's far away. One caveat: The system does not come with a charger/AC adapter, so plan accordingly.

    no charger
was disappointed that it didn't come with a charging cord. Didn't see anywhere before I bought it that the charger was sold separately. Granddaughter was disappointed that she couldn't immediately play.

    A very welcome upgrade
Having owned all previous 3DS handhelds, I will point out the upgrades given to the New 3DS XL. Improved 3D screen, which allows users to see the screen in 3D at almost any angle, instead of having to hold the system still. The ZL and ZR buttons now mean that the 3DS has two sets of two trigger buttons, future games will take advantage of this. The new circle pad on the right side of the device can be used in selecting games, internet browsing, and again, future games. Before, the 3D slider and volume switches could be moved easily if someone were to just breathe on them, now they wont move out of place and feel much stronger. Speakers are the loudest I've heard on any 3DS. Moving the Start and Select buttons to the side mean that users can rest their thumbs below the 2nd screen comfortably when say watching a video. Only complaint would be it not coming with a charger, but I already have spares at home.
